If you knew St Osyth you wouldn't want to use that beach. Honest. There's nothing nice about the place, you'd NEVER get any privacy either from the local kids. St Osyth is one place where total destruction would only improve the ambiance of the place. |

We lived in Clacton for several years and had a great time there. We found that Wed afternoons were best but it depended what you were after. Before the road was washed away it was very easy to drive down to the end but since the storm removed the road it is a fair walk. The main problem was people just gawping and not bothering to say hello. The very far end was mainly gay but the large hollow just behind the stones was both sheltered and a natural performance area shall we say. If you don't mind an audience then it was good. If I were you jack up a meet before just going on spec and I agree when the kids are not on holiday. That way she was unlikely to bump into one of her teachers there like we did.  give it a whirl. they used to charge to park but don't know if they still do. |

We have used the beach a few times. It's quite a walk from the car park but naturist beaches usually are.
Parking is still free.
When the weather is warm it's quite a nice place to meet people.
If any body bothered us we politely told them to go forth and we've never had a problem.

we went yesterday and I have to say it wasn't bad the floods done some good its now a lot cleaner.
only let down is the flippin blokes who feel the need to sit as close as they can get away with before being glared at, and the other dirty old men who need to keep doing laps of the beach hoping to see something more and playing with themselves as there walking by.(sad really but they do get bored and move on).
from where we were sitting we could see at least 8 couples and all just enjoying the sun maybe with the odd grope but nothing more.
if you wanted to play you could but you would get an audience.
all in all well worth a visit and we had our play on the way home  |
