Has anyone spotted swingers in vanilla venues?

We travel all over the place, and occasionally find a couple we rather like in a hotel/ ship/ airport whatever, but have never plucked up the courage to imply or tell them that we swing and rather fancy them.

Has anybody ever successfully spotted other swingers in a mainstream environment, and chatted 'em up accordingly?

How on earth would you spot swingers outside of a swinging enviroment. Is there a secret handshake? Maybe they have permanently pixelated faces like on thier swinging profile lol

Once you get chatting to people who you have empathy with, one must wonder how far that empathy extends. Do they swing? Then you start hearing things which MAY be double entendres, but then again might not.

At that point has anybody chanced their arm?

Maybe that's a better way of putting it.

Ha, I was out in a club, and heard someone talking about 'Townhouse'. Forgetting that there is a bar in town by the same name, I asked whether it was the one on the Wirral. The lady looked at me and said, 'no...but now I know where I'll find you!' And walked off with a wink.

It made me chuckle.

Batley... (near Leeds)

There is a pub not far from where I live and its popular with newbie swingers usually on a first social meet...quite easy to spot them if you know which signs to look for.

Yeah we've done this, chatting to a couple we met in a "non swinging" social situation, both of us getting the IOI from the other's partner, so we asked them if they wanted to go for it and took it from there.

And they don't necessarily have to be "swingers" as in people who are on the "scene", using forums and going to clubs, it might be people who have never tried it, never discussed it, or people who have been considering it. You never know til you ask.

That's the only secret to making his happen - ask!

Make it happen!

Sometimes when my partner and I are out on a night out, if I'm a bit pissed I half jokingly ask. the odd couples if they fancy a fourway.

Some look intrigued....usually the male half while his missus pulls him in the opposite direction.

Some look disgusted and the rest just laugh.

One of these days we'll get lucky!

Brighton - even Hove!

I never know what to think whenever someone says 'it's fab' or 'I've had a fab time'. I always agree and say 'yes, fab'

We once are in a restaurant prior to visiting a club. Had a table for two and at the next table a couple sat down and within 5 mins I sussed they had the same evening planned as us. Easy signs - they were knocking back the wine, laugh a bit loudly, looking round a lot and she was dressed way too sexy for that kind of restaurant. In fact we got really turned on thinking about asking them to join us, but in the end bottled it!

Sometimes they can be so easy to spot! We were at the Premier Inn near Cambridge and sitting in the bar area with friends. A couple came in and got drinks and sat at the next table. Every time someone walked in, they both looked at who it was. OK, others do that as well, but when a couple came in, looked at them and then looked around again before slowly walking over, we took a tad more notice.

Because they were at the next table, we heard them say are you Paul* and Sarah*? Once affirmed, they sat down and there was animated chatting and the guys were eyeing up each others lady. They left and walked through the door leading to the rooms...

Just by coincidence, we did see them again, about six weeks later at the same place and we decided to wait to see if the same couple came in. Nope! It was a different couple and the same scenario. Next morning at breakfast, we were later than usual (Yes, playing!) and we asked if we could sit at their table. We did and got talking to them and told them we had seen them before meeting another couple.

She was embarrassed and we apologised for bringing it up. He and I went to get some more drinks (Orange Juice!) and he told me what we suspected.. We gave them our profile name from another site and the rest is history! lol

*Names changed to protect the not so innocent!

we were sat having lunch with V's kids when a couple we recognise off here sat in at the table next to ours, with another couple.

if we hadnt had the kids we would have happily introduced ourselves and made it a 6some.

Yes, and often. My favourite and most successful locations are at Sainsbury's, and definitely at the Chippenham Sainsbury's. Weekdays' afternoons between 2pm and 3pm are the best times (generally because most swinging wives are there shopping). Its great fun, and sometimes you can get a meet for that evening

A few years back was in Gouda in Holland. Was sat waiting for lunch in the restaurant and this other couple asked to share our table ( was really busy ) . Got talking to them, they were from Germany, us from yhe UK. So got brave when they asked what brought us there. Told them fun4two. Turns out they were there for the same and we had a very sexy afternoon in our hotel with them.

Of course really!

Don't you know single males approach "swinging wives" ie the female half of a couple and arrange meets all the time? After all, they are so successful at the clubs why would they not be able to do it in the supermarket?

And the couple will not already be going to a club that night or have arranged a meet from here, so the lady, on her own, will be happy to invite the single male round to theirs later, she won't even need to ask her husband.

And yes, certain supermarkets are always frequented by "swinging wives" at the same time each week. They probably do it to meet single males you know. And they don't need to post a "meet" on here as everyone already knows.

And as every woman in every couple has her face pic on her profile you can recognise her right away.

Just check the Veris on the profiles of the single males and you'll see the couples saying they met him in a supermarket, not a club or on the site...

its the trying not to look sheepish look that gives them away...but once they're established swingers its harder to tell...unless they're like us and our friends who really don't care lol x

either one keep looking at the doors

following every couple that comes in with their eyes

whispering to whoever joins them

however, we never eye up the others partner, so thats not a sign to look for, then again, not everyone is as reserved as we are.
