For those of you that are in to Dom/Sub/BDSM relationships how did you get in to it? Is it something you discovered by accident or something you knew you wanted to be involved in?
Does it play a large part of your life in your relationship or just a small part for gratification? |

I (D) had fantasies of control from my teens but buried them until I reached a point in life where denying them was making me unhappy.
Thankfully the internet had been born and I found an early version of a web site called Informed Consent (now defunct) which in many ways was a BDSM equivalent of Fab. Through that I found out that what I fantasied about was normal, even boring, to some other people, learned loads and through munches met people who helped me decide who and what I wanted to be.
I got chatting on there to Nat who was not interested in me, she was already in a D/s relationship, but eventually she agreed to do a social. Nine years later we are still together.
D/s is a good label to describe the type of relationship we have not the day to day implementation of it which to most people would seem very vanilla.

I s have always been fascinated by the scene from a young age but it took me 28 years to find the right person to open up to and to live this lifestyle with. It now plays a big part in our relationship and it works well for us |

I'm not in a Dom/Sub relationship and I don't think I ever would be, but I do practice with a certain someone and have done for the last 3 years.
For me, I think because I am strong in real life, I do love to be Sub in the bedroom....and I love the memories by watching my bruises appear and remember what caused them |
