Hi everyone..
Im really amused by the amout of friends some profile have. Majority of them have JOINED 'over a year ago' but sans any Verifications...
Please beware, they may be pic collectors.
Do you think it takes so long for a single meet on Fab? I dont think so...

We all have our own way of spotting fakes etc and that is defiantly one thing that makes us suspicious.
However there will be some that joined the site... Didn't immediatly take to it and went somewhere else and then return to give it another try. Don't dismiss these profiles but keep your fake profile radar switched on! |

I agree, on the whole this is one way to spot a fake, but, We did meet a single guy with no verifications that had been on here for over 12 month, he was for real and said he didn't want verifying as he didn't want everyone knowing who he had met, etc.
We also know for a fact he met others, as he met some others whilst with us.  |

well I was here for 6 months before I got my first meet... a cross between finding the right people and me being comfortable enough... so I wouldn't dismiss it out of hand....
anyway what right do you have to dictate how someone runs there profile? if you don't like it.... move swiftly on..... |

A work colleague became aware of his profile here, he passed it off as he was just having a nosey, but became concious that they could see he had been using it for meets, silly maybe, but he didn't want his work colleague to know what he gets up to in his private life.
I explained that he would be taken more seriously if he was verified and that he could tell his work colleague that we was just mates that verified him to help. he could say he wasn't interested but didn't want to tell us that.
His work colleague was not a member here, it was a mistake he made on work computer, our friend did become concious that this person could join just to have a chuckle at his expense. |

This is the first site I've been on where people leave verifications, and more importantly, people take such notice of them!!
I can understand some people not wanting them, even if you can hide them - it's a personal preference, and I find it annoying that others personal choices are questioned.
I like to make my own mind up about people and what someone finds "hot" could be luke warm to me.
Some people are happy shagging away so don't have time to be leaving feedback...and good for them!! |

If there is something on the TV that you dislike.... do you?
a)scream from the rafters about it?
b)just change the channel???
If a shop has something in there shop window that you don't like... but isn't wrong... do you?
a)dictate to the shop owner what must be put in it?
b)walk on by..........

leave it to them to decided what's in theres... and just concentrate on yours.. you can only affect yours..
Personally I don't loads of cock shots from different angles on a profile but in the grand scheme of thing is it worth the bother of complaining about it?

We feel that if someone just gets a green tick with one verification then they have had contact at some point, but we read them to see how... by phone? by webcam? by meeting in person is a yes for us everytime.... means to us they have actively met others. we only display recent ones to show we are meeting now not 2,3 or more years ago!

from our experience you can't tell whether people are genuine by the lack of verifications.
We started playing just 2yrs ago and joined Fab and LS at the same time.
We had instant success on LS and as such enjoyed all of our fun from there. We didn't get any replies to our mail for close on 12 months from anyone on Fab  The last 12 months though it has been 50/50, but over the last 3-4 months we are enjoying good fun on here  |

My Hubby has had a profile on here for 7 months and as yet, hasn't managed to find anyone to meet and hence has no verifications.
He even tried the chat rooms out in the hopes he could get chatting to someone who would then verify to say that they've seen him on cam and he doesn't have two heads.

It is known that it has taken some single men over a year to get a meet on here.
It is known that there are picture collectors on here.
It is known that there are some total anally retentive fuckwits on here.
It is known that people sign up and then clear off, never to be seen again.
It is known that some people join as a single, meet someone and then join as a couple, therefore, negating the need for their single profiles.
It is known that people simply forget to delete their accounts.
It is known, that swingers differ and not everyone on here is on here for the same reason.
It is known that some people don't and won't show any verifications on here.
Therefore, you have NO right to say who is a picture collector or not, who is genuine or not and how long it takes for someone to get a meet.
It is YOUR opinion that these people may be picture collectors but unless you can prove it..... it is unsubstantiated crap! |

i dont show verifications due to a psycho convinced i had stole her "Man" he had met her once for a coffee and ran lol but she decided it was my fault and decided to spout pish!
iv not been photo verified either.
any messages i get, if they been here over 6 months have a big huge friends list and no photos i just ignore personally as they usually just lookin for wank material but as its said a million times its each to their own xx |

Likewise we're sometimes suspicious of ppl who don't display feedback,wondering what they have to hide. R

What i find hard to work out is if there are fake people with year old profiles why don't they put a new one up after 3/4 months? The age thing isn't a fool proof. It just says they are either fake, lazy, shy or not the best looking to us |

Dont agree with you there,we met a couple who had been on here for 9 months they had no pics on profile but they were happy to email them to us,we met them and they wernt mingers!
But,we are wary with profiles that are ever a yr old,we got loads of friends invites of profiles with no pics and long friends lists. |

If they put up a new one every few month thy will lose all their friends they have collected and with it the chance to view their pics. |

Personally I have a green tick but I only show one verification.
I have another 2, but these folks have since left the site.
I choose to hide my friends list as they are my business.
Due to my job and the confidentially of my position I only have Private pics, these I show only if I think I am about to meet a genuine person.
If after chat I think we are going to meet then you can have a look see, other than that NO.
I was here nearly 6 months before my first meet,
One thing i will say however is I did have a helluva lot more meets after my first verification went up. |

I mean no offence to genuine swingers on here. You can hide your personal pics, but what is there to hide who you met??? Hey, after all it is a Swingers site!!
I'm only trying to put my view across... i do understand that different people have different opinions.
Well, I still stick to my guns, no matter how you criticise me, cos the number of fakes outrun the number of genuine proiles on here...
Just read the number of genuine people who are backing my opinion???

Absolutely, different people have different opinions. I do agree, but the whole point of this thread is to understand what people think about profiles that have no verifications or approved faces,
YOU HAVE THEM BOTH - I am very curious with people with proiles, which are not photo verified or verified by meets.

Just because it is a swingers site it doesn't mean we all have to do the same thing and try to conform to what you (and others) may see as a genuine swinger!
It's our own profiles, pics, verifications, etc and we can do what we want with them without others wanting us to be what they want us to be! If you don't like a certain profile then move onto one that you do like, it's not that difficult to work out!
All of the above is said with my eyes open wide too

Some hide because they are discreet, some because to show who've they've met will limit potential meets, as I've said, men with straight on their profile verified by gay men!!
But, the bottom line is people are free to do what they wish with their profiles. |

I am concerned with a person with no pics, no verfications and nout on their profile but interested in meeting me.
I tend to look at a bit of everything to see. I read the profile and comments if they have them, ask the questions, maybe see them on cam if I am unsure they are who they say they are....
Lots of checks to keep myself safe.

"I am concerned with a person with no pics, no verfications and nout on their profile but interested in meeting me.
I tend to look at a bit of everything to see. I read the profile and comments if they have them, ask the questions, maybe see them on cam if I am unsure they are who they say they are....
Lots of checks to keep myself safe.

I don't take a blind bit of notice on profile age its the content that i look at. Some come and leave for months here only to return using the same profile. Verifications help but half are rubbish done by friends. |

ive just logged in to find a reuest from a lady in london, with 1 pic which is her avatar pic, which has her eyes blocked out, a huge list of guys on the friends list, no verifications, and the only thing it mentions in the profile is about wanting black guys or a select few guys with 10 inch cocks lol, i didnt think my dick shots were on show unless you were on my friends list....
she joined over a year ago, but with this i didnt get any message and dont know her from adam...
so is it someone whos genuine who cant be arsed to make a good profile and write a mail...
or someone whos a fake or a serial adder or pic colector maybe?

I was out with a friend last week, and we got to discssing Fab (as per)
She asked any more problems from 'Mr Nasty', no I replied..
She only goes on to tell me she's been talking to this guy call M--, I stopped her and described his photo..
Same guy, different profile and she says its not the first time he's changed his profile either, she knows him by at least 4 other names...
THATS WHAT ANNOYS ME
He is also photo verified, with the same pic on all 4 of the profiles...
How can that happen... |
