I am fasinated by the reasons people swing, I have my own reasons but why do others swing? is it a physical desire or is there something more about the need to have sex with others? why do men like to watch there partners have sex?

Well...i dont think its a cut and dry as just pleasure, for me I think it was more about control, I met my lovely wife when we were at school, I was twelve, as the years went by i found my other half was very submissive and i think i wanted to see how far i could go before she stopped me, and there is the fact i hate my mom......oh did I say that!! perhaps a Fruedian slip....lol |

swinging was the norm for thousands of years its only bee the last cpl of hundred years its been frowned upon. And as for only having one partner very few people have only had one sexuall partner. And i dont know many people who frown upon swinging. Most nonswingers would like to try but not with their own partners. I have spoke to alot of guys who would love to do what i do but dont want theier wives doing it. |

Our friends would still be our friends but i think it would change our relationship if they new, we have hinted in the past and the response was negative. but i agree with you about meeting fuck buddies outside the club, it might be a good idea.

We have found that Saturday nights are very social, we stopped going for that reason, most of the couples already new each other and we found it very hard, we have talked to a lot of couples who feel the same too, but we have met some very nice couples on the other nights, and I have to say most of the people we have met are great, we really enjoy our lifstye, the social side is something we need to work on I think. We started Swinging originally for the sex, now many years later we are more secure in our relationship and could do with moving in deeper...lol |

hmmmm
thought about this one for some time.
i think it was the excitement at first. and the fact that as a single lady, i would much rather have my "fun" in a somewhat controlled safe environment than after a night out with the girls.
And sometimes wishing you hadnt the day after and left with a hangover etc.
Im not looking for or wanting commitment so to me this is the safer cleaner option and ive met many lovely people i still see from time to time.
The fact that you can go have your fun, clean up and then go chat and have a drink in the bar at chams after like civilised people is a plus.
Then go have more fun....
that has to be a big bonus

Because I like to explore my conections to other people, I think most of the time I can form a connection with a person that is purely interest/sex based... & a relationship would not suit. I am a very inquizative person that always wants more (After all that is the nature of man, since back in the cave days... We had nothing and always needed more... We have not managed to explude that way of thinking from out minds, yet) So, I want more... Oneday I think I will met someone that conects with me the way I will connect with them, past lust or passion... deeper. Unless that happens I will except the lust as a connection for fun and follow it... Form friendships alone the way, and maybe some of those friendships will be friends forever. But I just like to play too :D lol I love sex, I love talking (you might have noticed that pmsl) So i follow my instints and they have brought me to this site & another.

Well for us it was for the excitement of doing something new and to be honest a bit 'daring'
Whay did we break the mold from conventional? We found out good vanialla freinds of many years were swingers. We though 'wll it's not done them any harm' though it took about a year talking between ourselves on and off before we took the plunge
We didn't really expect what we actually got from swinging. We thought it was the sex thing and that was that. We were quite unprepared for the fantastic suprise of the social side of it - and the varied colourful and exciting people you can meet - plus the wild stories and memoreies what we have already in less than two years!
