I know there are a lot of people on here who "collect" pics..i dont mind this..if it is for them to use for their own pleasure..i mean, if i put up pics of a naughty nature what am i expecting people to do with them?! But..if someone screen shots these pics and say..sells them to porn mags..porn sites or uses them claiming them to be their own...is this illegal..scares me to think my images could end up anywhere out there! |

Yes very annoying this has happened to me to was well pissed of. Found out via one of my fab friends she was using it in her private pics to send people she happend to use the very popular one so he knew it was mine busted lol.  |

Lots of free software around.
Put a watermark across the pic.
If it runs diagonally across it makes it hard work to remove and puts most people off nicking them and using them as their own. |

I never understand why folk use others photos. If they meet then the game is over surely?
I agree that watermarking is the way.I'd use ACDC software to put text diagonally and also add the text box as semi-transparent. I do this if I'm posting proofs on file share for dancers etc.
Also keep the pic size down so that its not suitable for blowing up or printing.
A pic is as good as a thousand words! Watermark and try not to be put off.
