Hi peeps having not done a club my self yet I have a good friend who wants to try one with me
she's from Blackpool but feels that the Blackpool ones maybe too close to home for her to feel at ease initially. Any recomendations as to where to go for a gentle but 'informative' time - want to gonon a reasonably popular night so if you make a reccomendation please say which nights would be best also can you just turn as up as a couple or do you need to be a member of the club??

Depends how far you want to travel.
In Manchester you have Cupids and Partners. Haven't been to Cupids in a few years though, and its getting bad re-views at the minute.
I love Partners. So I'd probably advise that. Its friendly enough. Although it does have an over abundance of single men at times.
Townhouse in Leeds. But I'm not sure how far that is from where you are. Probably too far, so best ignore me!!!

Northwest ideally but will travel 1-2 hrs for right place. Coming from Blackpool & Lancaster area.

We've been to Infusion in Blackpool twice and really liked it and as luck would have it we're going to a new club in Blackburn tonight called HeavenonEarth will let you know how it goes..... unless of course you and your friend fancy meeting us there lol.

Hi! Townhouse is on the Wirral and I would reccommend this one for a 'first timer' - the owners and staff are great, the place is lovely and clean, great atmosphere - we haven't been for a few months so will need to go again! Partners is good too, Cupids was filthy last time we went, can understand not wanting to go to Infusions as it's close to where your girlfriend lives - but it's a fab club too! What night varies from place to place and if there's a party or themed night on! Have fun wherever you go! Z |

You can travel further afield but remember .... all the people in Blackpool think the same so they all head off to Bury or Manchester etc and all the people near Partners in Bury or Manchester head to Blackpool, so your just as likely to meet a local when you travel, but it doesn't matter they are just doing the same as you and won't run around telling everyone. |

Went to Heaven on Earth at Blackburn last week. It's a fantastic club, steam room, sauna, Jacuzzi. Lots of nice big playrooms. Only been open a few weeks but is certainly drawing in the people I believe |

To the OP, the Townhouse is on the Wirral, Tranmere or at least in that area I think, but deffo NOT Leeds! (Although before the Leeds peeps start shouting, there is Club Isis in Leeds!) |

Hey bud the club is good unfortunatly it was really quiet, it was tuesday I suppose.
Only two other couples there and neither were our type to be honest. The club was clean and the facilities were ok but if we're being honest next time we go we'll drive the extra few miles and go to Infusion....
Which we're gunna do the next Saturday we have off .

Big thumbs up, the club has only been open a couple of months and is just getting known. Saying that I believe last Friday night there were about 20 couples, 6 or 7 single fems and about 10 guys.
I think weekdays can be quiet in most clubs unless a party is planned
