Have you ever had casual sex with anyone because you felt their need was greater than yours? Did it turn out better than you expected? |

When i was 16 i slept with a mate who wanted to lose his virginity, thought it was gonna be a one off. He then wanted a relationship and kept moithering me about why i didn't fancy him blah blah blah. Ruined a friendship and i'd not do it again either.
The sex was alright if i'm honest, not amazing but i still enjoyed it. |

Many years ago, as a student, I knew that a friend really fancied me and I tried to tell him I didn't think of him in the same way. He became quite upset, I comforted him, we had sex which was very nice but I still didn't fancy him enough to become an item.
He thought I'd changed my mind about him.
Back to square one.

Interesting answers.
I wasn't so much thinking anyone would have sex without at least some arousal -but I mean going for it when you could take or leave it with the person in question.
50:50 sex will always be everyone's target but do we really know that our casual partner wants it as much as we do? |

Just asking, please don't take it wrong, but don't you sometimes feel that a friend in need can be helped without loss of your self esteem? Then having helped the friendship could turn out more mutually rewarding than your first impressions suggested? I agree that there must be some connection otherwise it could be a type of abuse. |

Oh no I wasn't offended  . I've never felt that I could help someone by having sex with them for no other reason than I feel sympathy I think that would be wrong for them and me. I have had sex with plenty of people with whom I've felt a connection but then sympathy wouldn't be the major factor. I suppose it depends on how you view the actual act of sex and while I'm not prissy about it I do like to reserve it for people that I feel a genuine and equal connection with |

I don't think friendship and sex go hand in hand, I will help anyone out, I put my friend and her two kids up for a while after she left her abusive hubby till they found somewhere to live, for me that's the kind of thing you do for a friend in need not shag them sex isn't a need and to be honest a real friend wouldn't want you to do that for them |

I think helping a friend in other ways would be far better and healthier for a friendship then ruining it. No matter what happens the dynamic of the friendship would be changed.
Sex is not the be all and end all and I struggle to find a situation where a charity fuck would be needed in a friendship. |

For me i could remember what it was like to want to lose your virginity so i did sympathise. If my friend had been happy with what we'd done and not wanted more i probably would have done it again, it just went wrong for me so put me off.
I did enjoy the sex with him, i found him slightly attractive so his looks didn't put me off lol. I don't feel i lost any respect for myself because i did what i thought was right at the time and enjoyed it at the time.
If i hadn't found him attractive at all, and not had a high sex drive then i doubt i would have done it in the first place. |

Just thinking about this for the couples who like MFM. How much of connection do they want to feel for their playmate? I'm thinking respect but maybe less than in a MF relationship?
The couples I have met seem to have the balance just right so we know enough about one another to be able to relax and enjoy the sex etc but have no expectations of anything more. |

I dont know if this counts.
My ex was out on a hen night and all the girls finished up at a Greek restaurant. Soon they were the last customers and everyone was preparing to go home.
The restaurant staff locked the door and didnt let anyone go until they had the bride to be.
Aftef negotiating it was agreed that they would go after the staff got their end away with any of the girls. My ex, in order to selflessly protect the honour of the bride to be took two of the staff and a couple of the girls took the rest.
