Do you meet without seeing face pics?
A couple approached me today and seemed interested in me and wanted to meet tonight, they were verified but when I asked for a face pic, you'd have thought I just insulted them with their response.
"But if the body does not do it for you the face which equally as nice wot do it for u either... No worries.."
saying her body looks great! the response being.
"What makes u thinks her face will not be the same... Was looking for NSA"
Apparently NSA is now meeting people blind? news to me.
and now blocked, oh well!
Would you meet anyone even socially first without a face pic even if verified?

I have met some and tbh was lucky they weren't ugly. But mostly i won't meet anyone without one as their face is more important than their body for me.
Only guy i met who was facially unattractive to me i had seen a pic of him and he resembled his pics but they were taken at an angle that made him look different. |

Never have, never would......I rarely message people if they won't show me what they look like after the first one or two.
I decide if I like someone by seeing if they have warm smiley eyes - not overly bothered what their body looks like it's all about the eyes for me  |

I guess people are worried in such rural areas where I am! certainly recognised a few in surrounding areas! but planning to meet someone who i've not seen a pic of when they've seen me? no thanks! |

I agree with this... their face tends to make me even more interested or put me off entirely. The attitude they show is also extremely unattractive, and to be even more difficult to please, personality is a big thing as well for me.
But to answer the question, I'd be extremely reluctant to meet without seeing face pics beforehand.  |

If I haven't met them at a social, I insist on a Skype chat before any meets are arranged. Just a quick five mins to say hello and check that they are human and that they look like their pics.

We meet with no face pics, only been disappointed once and that was when we had been sent a pic, which was twenty years old and she'd lost all of her teeth bar one. We never send out ours so obvoously dont demand any in return. We do want to see some form of body pic though. |

We always exchange face pics. We wouldn't meet someone who was unwilling to share a face pic - it makes it seem they like have something to hide. Also, a person's eyes and their facial expression are a big turn on.  |

I don't even continue messaging without seeing a face pic... Never mind meet them.
In some cases the personality can override someone I don't have any instant attraction to, but never has a good looking face overcome a personality I'm not attracted to... But I still need to see who I am conversing with.
I chose to publicly show my face, I respect other people's choices not to. I do however expect to see them if they want to chat. |

For some weird reason that I have yet to fathom out, about 6 months ago I met a guy from here without seeing a face pic. He didn't even have a profile pic, and only had 2 pics.. of his cock. Should have been a case of '3 strikes and he is out!!'
But.. 6 months later and we are getting on quite well.
I blame Red Dwarf.

If I had liked someone's pictures and had great conversation, usually a face picture is generally positive when I receive it pre meet, and as long as it was attractive to me it's fine. I am fussy with the overall, but the face is a key part, I know what you mean OP. Though I don't generally meet, so it doesn't answer your question OP |

Sorry but I have to be attracted or it aint happening.
I've been in a situation before where she did send face pics but she looked about 10 years older and I just wasn't attracted, we had a drink and thats as far as it went.

I've met a couple of people without seeing a face pic of them or them seeing one of me. Quite exciting really. A bit like Roulette!
Anyway. It all ended in grand fuckery anf nobody died. So. It wasn't a bad thing. To be honest, most people look better in the flesh thanin their pice, me included. So I don't judge anyone on thrir pics, however hot they look. |

That's always a possibility with a social anyway...I've had social meets where we just haven't got on at all so I've said afterwards I won't be taking it any further. That's kind of the point, doesn't make it awkward.

We wouldn't get to a point where we were arranging a definite sex meet with someone without exchanging recent face pics. However, we would meet socially without face pics.
For us the issue is managing a balance between maintaining our privacy, but also being respectful that those we regularly message over time will clearly want to know what we look like (and vice versa).
We always agree with our meets that if there's no chemistry when meeting in person, we're all able to walk away without causing offence. We've found this is the best way to politely manage those fabbers who use very old pics on their profiles and then arrive at our door as very different people.
The couple referred to in the original post sound arrogant. That for us is more unattractive than any face pic could be. .

We tend to meet for socials first, and count personality, attitude, trustworthiness and sense of humour as more important than facial features, and how can you show all that in a photo?

Ask for another photo whilst pointing out it would benefit the two of you in case there is no physical attraction.

I once arranged a social meet with a couple (on another site). As I recall neither party had shown face pics but I might have sent them mine.
Anyway I turn up at said venue, grab myself a bit of food and a drink and peer around at the clientele hoping to work out who they are.
After a bit my phone rings - they are "running late". It's OK I'll wait says I. A bit later and another phone call - still running late.
I start to smell a rat but in a desperate bid to prove they are genuine they invite me around to their house instead, so all's well that ends well.
The moral is that having sat around in a pub looking to recognise someone I've never seen a face pic of before I wouldn't do it again, even though it turned out well in the end. |

If no face pic is received by the second received message, and yes we would've asked, then we won't be having a third round of message exchanges let alone a meet.
