Now this isn't a post about how unfair it is etc but recently noticed a few ladies stating that if a club didn't let them in for free that they wouldn't go.
Now I haven't found any club that charges more than a fiver for a single lady ( correct me If I'm wrong )
So ladies.... do you mind the entrance fee. And would someone really stop going to a club If they started charging for single ladies ( if they didn't before)

I pay a tenner for a few of the club's I go to - some are free or a fiver! Often it depends on the event! I'm a single mum - so if it cost more than a tenner i'd simply have to go to clubs a lot less often - hence there'd be less single ladies for guys and couples to play with! |

"I would expect to pay something. After all they need to maintain the facilities. If you don't have to pay its just a nice treat!"
Don't get me wrong we love it at the clubs where there is a loyalty scheme or you find that its reduced or free entry for an an event but we wouldn't expect it as a general thing x |

I think I paid £20 to get into xtasia once, that may have included membership I'm not sure
I don't mind playing a small fee but I wouldn't pay the same as men, if I'm totally honest I'm a single working mum and I just couldn't justify spending £100 on membership and £30/£40 + pound every time I wanted to go, I have kids at home and more important things to spend my money on |

"They usually let single ladies in for free to milk the money off the single men it's like pimping but the women get paid in cock and the club cashes in "
Men don't have to be milked of money, there's thousands of women in the country who don't go to clubs they can have for free |

I wouldn't say that, I think it's more to encourage single ladies to join, most couples prefer couples & ladies nights at clubs so that the ladies aren't pestered by single males, if more single girls went clubbing the single males probably wouldn't have to pay a premium and couples & single females wouldn't feel like they were in a meat market for the single guys |

I only go with my partner, not as a single female, on our couple profile. I too was a single working female, with three kids, but don't ever play the 'poor me' card as my partner was also a single dad, and much worse off than I was, financially. A certain amount of money doesn't bother me, but I wouldn't go out and spend a fortune socialising or clubbing .... any single parent wouldn't, I don't think. |

I wouldn't do any activity if I couldn't afford it, but if I want to do something nice in a nice place then I'm happy to pay.

I fully agree so the women can do whatever they want for free but hard working single men get conned? Okay if it's to stop so many single men getting in have a waiting list like Chams does I think not hit them in the pocket because it should be equal for both sexes, they charge silly amounts because they know single men will pay it. |

Before we got together, one club charged my partner seventy .... when we got together and wanted to go, as he had joined as a single, they wanted to charge us the same. If you know me, you'll know what my reaction was, by message and, when we saw the host at another club, in the flesh .... total rip off and against anything swinging stands for. We avoid anywhere this man goes now as he is truly a money grabber. I feel the same way about clubs that do this, so we just avoid them. |

I am happy to pay a charge to go to a club , and do on the odd times I go.
But I also know that all of this charging business for men and women and couples will never change. The only thing you can do if you are not happy with things as they are in clubs, is just don't go........all the posts over the years about club charges will not alter a thing... |

Well Jesus Christ my review has certainly become a talking point today. Yet again I'm here to defend myself against those that cannot read the review for what it is. As it was the precursor to this topic being started.
I have never stated I will not be attending the club. I have never said anything but positive things about the club and that will never change. It's a minimal fee for women, one that would be rather insignificant if it was only a few times a month. However I used to attend the club a few times a week. I'm a single girl working full time with a mortgage and bills to pay (like everyone else - however disposable income is very much an individual thing). I cannot afford to spend £50+ a month attending the club I have spent the last 5 years going to two to three times a week.
I respect the club's decision. And will still attend and pay when I am able. |

I misunderstood this thread until I just went on the clubs website. I thought they where charging the same for females as they are for men and couples but there not its £5.
You wouldn't really be able to do any other hobby or activity for £5

Do you know what, maybe they are changing. I don't really object to a higher price on the night (I understand that the club needs women and loads of men want to go) what I don't agree with is the membership fees for men and there is at least one club that's done away with that and some of special nights mean you don't need to be a member as a single man so maybe things are changing membership fees for single men are certainly keeping me away from clubs on principle and the fact that I don't want I go that regularly to justify it. |

Swinging clubs are a business, they want to make money. They know some men are prepared to pay a lot of money, therefore that's where the profits lie.
It may seem unfair but that's how they make money and everyone has a choice as to whether they accept the terms and conditions.
We go wherever we want to go, whether it's swinging or some other event. If it's something we want to do and there's an entrance fee we pay it. |

I wouldn't as it stands now
As a single women its free or maybe a fiver to get in
If I go as a couple we have to join as a couple so pay a couples membership fee and a couples entry fee, I wouldn't pay half towards that if I could get in for free or a fiver, that's just daft in my eyes |

I recently went to a club with a guy and we had booked as a couple as single men bookings were full. I was expecting to pay half with him but he insisted on paying it all. Such a gent! And I guess at the end of the day it was still cheaper than if he had gone as a single guy plus he had my company to enjoy for the evening hehe |

I dont mind paying but hate it when you get little or no action. There are all voyeurs or on a social. I can stay home and do both for free, so if I'm paying I expect some action. |

I have been to many, many clubs in my swinging history, and have spent a fair few evenings at them just chatting and catching up with people. The sex is a bonus. |

What utter drivel!
I regularly attend a club in Colchester, the charge is £30 for a Friday night, or £40 for a Saturday night, money well spent seeing as I have made lots of friends there.
Where else can you go on a weekend and have as much fun?
A nightclub maybe? Ok so you spend a huge amount on drinks, and if you hook up with a lady then they expect you to buy them drinks all night.... more than likely over £50 in total.
The club entry fee's are perfectly acceptable for what I want from the club, and that is a fun night out!
It's NOT all about sex and getting your cock sucked, when people start to understand what a swinging club is all about, then they may start to understand the costs involved etc.

"as long as single guys will keep paying, clubs will keep milking them, without single guys, 99 percent of clubs would close down.."
That is perfectly true. Perhaps some of the single ladies and couples that come on the forums slating single guys should think about that.
Instead of paying larger membership fees and larger entrance fees, Us guys should get together and hire a club for a night and a few escorts. |

Without women would men turn up? Of course not! And there are clubs where the women are paid so sex is guaranteed but they're much more expensive and the women are bored shitless. Maybe just stay at home, put on some porn and have a wank instead...? |

You are correct, it needs both parties to make it a fun night. However, NOBODY can argue it is a fair system where the single guy is subsidising the ladies and couples fun.

Simple answer is don't go to clubs that you think overcharge. There are many clubs that we wouldn't visit because we think they are overpriced. We don't come on a forum and complain, we vote with our feet, although I don't suppose we are missed as those clubs still function.
If you want a heterosexual club then it's best not to chase the females away by increasing their price. If you want even pricing then gay saunas usually charge a flat fee. |

I'm not complaining about the clubs I go to. The thread is discussing the pricing structure of charging single guys more and is it right or wrong. I personally think it is wrong and unfair.

That's a commendable attitude but I doubt that many clubs will survive on gaining your custom but losing most of their females to other clubs.
Clubs are businesses. They seem to run, on the whole, successfully with the current business model. Why would a businessman (other genders are available) change a profit making sysytem because some people who go rarely or never complain about pricing while current customers are readily paying the total price needed to cover overheads and make a profit?
If equal pricing is such a great idea I would have thought that all clubs would be doing it by now. Since they aren't there's obviously a business opportunity for some of you to take advantage of. |

Why would a businessman (other genders are available) change a profit making sysytem because some people who go rarely or never complain about pricing while current customers are readily paying the total price needed to cover overheads and make a profit?
If equal pricing is such a great idea I would have thought that all clubs would be doing it by now. Since they aren't there's obviously a business opportunity for some of you to take advantage of."
The OP's question wasn't about what I thought was good business, the OP's question was "how do single women feel about paying for entry for clubs?".
That is how I feel about paying for entry. I would prefer to pay more.
I made no comment on the business side of anything. |

I'm going to give a hypothetical scenario using clubs that are considerably more popular with women than men.
Mecca Bingo (Other Bingo's are available) decide that they want to encourage more men to join the club.
They decide to give the men low priced lifetime membership. They then sell the men their tickets for 10p a strip (or however it works).
To pay for this, They charge the women a £70 a year membership and charge them £1 for their tickets.
Do you think they would be commended for it? No! They would be shot down in flames for such actions and likely end up in court on discrimination and equality charges.
The one and only reason clubs get away with charging men more is they know they will pay it. If Swinging was as publically accepted an activity as bingo, The clubs would likely find themselves answering very difficult questions regarding discrimination. |

Please explain your argument as it pertains to the many, many clubs where women are still barred from joining. |

It is self explanatory as to how it pertains to Swingers clubs. Which is what being discussed here.
Also in todays enlightened society, There are very few activities that bars women from being involved. What are the many things you talk of? |

There are men's clubs that prohibit women joining altogether. In the last couple of years the WI was criticized for not letting men join the institute, but nobody thought that men's clubs should be forced to accept women. |

The reason Mecca Bingo would fall foul of the law is that they're not a private members club.
In reality, the women would vote with their feet and go elsewhere, as should all the people that think that what they are asked to pay at a swingers club is too much. While guys pay the asking price the price won't change, but I don't see any clubs with a shortage of single men at present.
Possibly far fewer clubs, all with a fixed price but always couples only, might be the solution to the constant whinging about club prices. |

Well nobody except the whole media campaign that accompanied it when it was in the news when the laws were brought in.
.the guardian usually runs a few stories a year on mens only clubs too. |

"Now this isn't a post about how unfair it is etc but recently noticed a few ladies stating that if a club didn't let them in for free that they wouldn't go.
Now I haven't found any club that charges more than a fiver for a single lady ( correct me If I'm wrong )
So ladies.... do you mind the entrance fee. And would someone really stop going to a club If they started charging for single ladies ( if they didn't before)
"
Most clubs I visit charge £5. Some are free and some charge £10
I would pay as much as £20 but any more than that and I will probably not visit as often |

I've just done a little research into what constitutes a private members club.
The law states a private members club must not be a for profit enterprise, And that all profits are retained for the benefit of the members.
There should also be 48 hours between application and admittance and that all members are locals.
Do any of the 'Private members swingers clubs' adhere to that? |

I'm sure you have a cast iron case against the swinger clubs then. I await the results of your law suit with interest. |

That is exactly the reason they get away with overcharging men. They know we all want privacy where swinging is concerned and don't want our information all over the newspapers. |

For those who wish to vote with their feet - townhouse mild Monday (first daytime Monday of each month ) charges £10 per single and £10 per couple - irrespective of gender!
The Unit in Blackpool charges £10 per person for all its parties and events! They're available - you just have to look harder!
Perhaps others could post if they know of clubs in their own areas who don't charge single males a lot? X |

Quest in Leeds charges £25 for single blokes (although the membership is £25 too so the first visit is £50). |

Same for La Chambre too. There's discounts for repeat visits in the same weekend too. Visit Friday at £25 and get in Sunday for £15 |

"Now I haven't found any club that charges more than a fiver for a single lady ( correct me If I'm wrong )" £10 pounds on a Saturday night at one of my three new favourites, Cupids.

As a matter of fact exactly that DID happen to my old, favourite club when it got leased to different managers. Did not make any changes to my club-going habits whatsoever. |
