"It's computer code for ampersand - & symbol.
It means something hasn't been interpreted quite right and it shows the code not the symbol"
It's also a sure sign that they typed something up in MSWord or something similar and then copied and pasted it to wherever they actually wanted it.
If we see it in messages, we are generally pretty wary that the sender is part of the bulk emailers brigade! |
