does anyone read profiles ???

I've clearly stated with asterisks and capitals on my profile that I don't want to be contacted by guys unless they've been verified at least 3 times.
Yet I get email after email from newbees and muppets asking for meets. I hate just pressing the delete button, but they clearly haven't read my profile. Damn it's annoying!

we can use the "little green" arrow to read back...
right.. so onto that little secret... ranting and moaning isn't the sexiest of traits...
in fact its more likely to send "the nice ones" running in the other direction...... if you put out negativity, you get negativity back..... |

I always read profile because i dont want to send messeges that get deleted y dont you try what a lot of people do and put a code word in and tell them to write that code word in the subject box |

I'm not being funny OP but we all get messages outwith our preferred criteria. In the grand scheme of things is there any sense in getting worked up about people you have no intention of meeting?

I did that but most ignored it.. and there were to many sexy bods for me to kick them all lol..
I just thought I would rant as everyone else was..and as I really cant properly rant as I have no voice.. ( sore throat) It was as good as its gets..

just out of curiousity... and it has been nagging me...
if I had decided to hide my verifications.... how would you know if I had had 1 or 100 meets????
and since you had the same person verify you 3 times... isn't that kinda cheating anyway??

We don`t show our verifications as we believe who we have met is our business and our business alone.
However, if you`d seen some of the mingers we`ve met over the years, you could hardly blame us.  |

Cheers for the tip....I've changed the settings to exclude the non verifieds, wonder if it works lol!
I've got a word in my profile that I ask people to put in the subject line.....which they don't do that often

Some people read profiles, some don't, and some read them and try their luck anyway. Personally, I will always read the profile of someone who catches my eye to the end, to make sure I meet their requirements, and vice versa.
It can get annoying at times when people dont read it in full, and having a rant sometimes can make the world of difference. In the meantime, delete, delete, depete. |

You can shoat as much as you like but sadly wont make a blind bit of difference youll still get the emails lol  I guess if they are new members you have to give the poor buggers a chance they have to get verified some how lol |

We often get messages from straight guys and often enough we bin the messages as stated on our profile that we will do so.
People will not take a few minutes out to read a profile so why should any of us take time out to read their messages  |

We have the problem too, although not sure if it is the lack of reading skills or no knowledge of geography...... We get loads from the Manchester area who think Wigton which is in North West Cumbria really means Wigan.
Then when you say they are two hours away, I wish I had a pound for everyone who says "I can travel" really sure they will. |

I don't think she needs to shorten it, it makes it plain what she is and isn't looking for. As so many people are worried about 'wasting' their time on here it could save typing an email and then having to moan about a no reply or deleted unread. |

Why let it bother you ? We don't give a flying fuck who messages us because we just ignore the ones that don't float our boat - which to be honest is 99.9% of them, but do we get annoyed ? No, Do we rant ? No Do we lose 1 nanosecond of sleep fussing over it ? No.

To the OP - you will always get some email you trying their luck, their excuse being "if you don't ask you don't get" (Which as I guy I disagree with - a female will ALWAYS drop a hint to a guy she's interested in... the flipside, if he's had to ask twice, that's 2 times too many).
Also, I have over 10 verifications displayed (ranging from females who don't meet guys, couples who don't meet single guys, the odd single guy, one straight, one bi,.. females and couples who aren't into black guys,... as well as females that we simply might never play).. yet all socially do these count? Lol.

Yes...I do read profiles fully...to be honest there is a bit of a cult of profile readers on here...peeps hotlists are full of comedy gems..and outrageous pompous ranting profiles...and crazy bitter status updates..kinda guilty pleasure.. xx |
