Thinking of joining a dating website, has anyone for a bit of knowledge which ones are good.

Depends.

If you are serious about dating, then the paid ones will yield better results. However, if you are looking for an extension of Fab, any of the free ones.

A lot of the non paying ones have the same folk on them, go for the ones where you have to pay a bit of dosh.

To be honest I wouldn't pay,I thought paying would bring in some one more serious. I tried one of them and the only local people on there were on pof anyway,I didn't see one person I wanted to date!

Same here, I can't find which site is 'in' at the moment, they were all more lively a few years back it seems, I wouldn't bother paying.

Do NOT repeat NOT join any dating agencies. The will rip you off to the tune of hundreds and thousands if they can get away with it.

I agree with the fact that paid sites seem to have the same people on as free sites, I've tried a couple of the paid sites over the years but never found anyone
