..... no show. So annoying haha. I had been talking with this person for a while, we had arranged to meet, I was actually SO bloody excited, and then.... nothing. Not even a text to say they'd changed their mind.
Now I understand why women here say time wasters are such a problem! I am well gutted, I can only imagine what it's like if this sort of thing happens often. |

We had two 'no shows'... One single fem and one couple... (Once it involved booking a hotel by us) When we put a warning about fem she went off her head threatening that she will report us as she was waiting 30mins! ( probably in the car as we were in the pub for 2h with only members of staff on premises lol) It's easier for a couple as we still enjoyed our time out together haha but it's also frustrating... We have learnt our lesson and now our first meets are always social so we don't keep our hopes high and if the person won't show it's just a nice evening out  X M |

There do seem to be quite a few posts about it,sorry to hear this hope you reported them to admin op.

Yes, I've been stood up many many times. One occasion i was chatting to a couple who lead me on. I went out of my way to cancel other stuff and got ready, drove miles to the hotel they said they were at, and waited for them to text me their room number when they were ready.. I sat in the hotel car park and waited for an hour.. So I text them back and asked if they were ready... And all I got back was "Not today thankyou"... Arghhh I think single men get treated dreadfully. I think we can all accept we are treated as second class citizens to some point due to the nature of the site and supply and demand....and I know not all are like that, but these experiences are outweighing the good ones in my case .. |

Sorry to hear that OP but at least the advice you've taken on board from previous threads seems to be getting you closer to that elusive first meet

Its never fun. I've had no shows galore and even had a couple of fake addresses so when I showed up either the place didn't exist or the person answering the door wasn't who I was expecting and they weren't expecting me. |

Op also had the bad experiences of turning up to a meet to find it was an ex boyfriend getting revenge by posting his ex gf details on fab and pretending to be her and also talking ages to a lady arranging a meet booking day off work travel to meet for her to not show not answer messages or calls then disappear off site like I say chalk it down to experience |

I have had 3/4, I'm hoping I've worked out how to avoid them now. Never stood anyone up. It's gutting though. I'm sure 2 were fake profiles in retrospect. |

I think what happens is they see a better option. These couples that do weekends away, I think message many men to cover all angles, then just take the one they think is best... This has happened to me a few times. |
