I think such a big desicion like that should be thought about long and hard.
Obviously there's the element of how much sex can I get with each, that's got to be an influence, but ultimately what would you be happier with. |

It's a very interesting subject. I think a lot of "fab straight" guys prefer pre op as they are really bisexual or gay but won't admit it.
Do pre op TS identify as male or female? Or gender fluid? I suppose everyone can identify as they wish but I just wondered.

From talking to many pre and post op I've come to the conclusion that if you base it entirely on the interest you get, you're better off keeping it.

My son at 14 came out as transgender (he was born a girl)
It has taken a whole load of therapy and family counselling to be able to move forward, and still his fear of injections holds him back from having the body he feels he should have been born in.
Then you are here asking what the best route is to go to give others sexual pleasure?
I don't think you are ready for any kind of change - you have to do it for yourself not anyone else, it is life altering. |

There's so much wrong with this proposition.
To seek to have in excess of £10k of NHS money in surgery based on where you'll get more interest, whilst all GICs have funding such that waiting lists over a year just for a first appt and whilst disphoria for those on the waiting list literally destroys lives is just wrong.
Posting this just trivialises gender disphoria and contributes to the misunderstanding and sexualisation of trans women.

I struggled with my own for a long time and had considered transitioning but finally accepted my lumpy female body and express my gender queerness in other ways. Of all my trans friends who have gone the full journey, it's a lot of thought, soul searching, upset, acceptance before anyone touched them with a scalpel. They are the bravest people I know. |
