Yes, but just use them from frozen into whatever you are making fo not defrost them first, you just end up with the soggy

one thing you can do is chop them befro you freeze them, then place in ice cube trays with sdoem water before you freeze them

when you use want to use them just get the cube out the tray and add to what you are cooking

I wanted to freeze some tarrogan, i grow some and buy ones that i use all the time. But didnt want to buy alot of tarragon if i wasnt going to use it. But i just bought some fresh in a packet which will be ok in the fridge. Cause i usually just got them to hand never thought about freezing them before

Tarragon should be fine if u have some left, dry it very well,i use a salad spinner, then use freezer bags.Make sure u get all the air out the bag.

"Can you freeze fresh herbs?"

Yes. Best is to chop them then freeze them in ice cube trays with a little water - just enough to form a cube.

best way I've found if you intend to use in casseroles etc as most breakdown after thawing if you freeze straight away..

always best fresh but this will do in a hurry.

I have heard that you can preserve in olive oil as it keeps the air off them but haven't tried and I'm not sure how long they would keep.

drying is also good.

google preserve herbs in oil
