Hi, I just wondered if any of you lovely people have gotten close or intimate with someone from the forums?
It could be friendship not just a meet or even true romance, of sorts

not a relationship or romance, but i've ended up meeting someone and he's turned out to be my most enjoyable meet off here overall.
if he'd just messaged me i wouldn't have entertained the idea as he's really far away. so yeah it happened through/because of the forums.  |

kind of.
i didn't used to use the forums much when i was first on here (too busy meeting) but when i started using them more i noticed some of the guys i had already met were better than they represented themselves in the forum. |

Women honestly love that mate. I'm no legend on here, but the women I have made some level of connection with have made have all said how much they value politeness etc.
Maybe have a look a little closer to home - I mean that in a supportive way. There's always things we can do to improve how we present ourselves  |

That is me too. Mr doesn't come on the forums and I am far more opinionated here than in real life. Truth is, I don't care what anyone else does, but it is fascinating what lengths others will go to to get their point across ... |

I met my best guy friend of over 4 years on Fab.
I have some other people I consider to be real friends too
I did have a bit of a relationship with someone for 18 months but that was a waste of time in the end |

I talk to some people from the forums and a few I hang out with on occasion. It's nice to have people dotted around the country who are up for a drink and a meal when we happen to be in the same place. There are some genuinely nice people on here. |

I've met a couple of people from the forums.
2 of them have become very good friends who I chat to daily and see regulary for coffee and occasionally fun. |

yes ive met a few - some i chat to quite a lot - one is going to be house guest this week - another im going to meet for lunch with - some ive played with - some i just chat with - love the forums x |

I've met a few from the forums who I chat to off site, some more frequently than others, its a different kind of friendship to those I've met in more coventional settings..  |

Same as this for me. Plus a few I haven't met but like chatting to. Some of the friends I chat to daily are fab related but rarely or only occasionally use the forums. |

Most of the people I talk to are a result of some forum acti - NEIL GAIMAN -vity. Usually it's a conversation about a common interest. That's why on many occ - 30 ROCK - asions I like to randomly say things I like in the middle of a forum reply. |

I've met some lovely people and going to meet more in the future. Helps if you don't take the forums too seriously. Unfortunately there is the odd few but that's life. Stop hating and gain a sense of humour. Things may actually improve around here. Please don't make this another year of being offended |

Have spoken to and met the one or two through forum chats and the banter therein. It's a little less come shag be know I'm the hotel next door and more about getting to know someone's giggleability and I hope there's a few more out there, there's even one or two on this thread that pique my gander lol |

I've met at a Forum Social and chat to a couple of peeps. They are on my Friends List and I hope to see them again soon.
I have daily banter on kik with quite a few but they are not Forumites.. Past/Present lovers. |

Yeah - I'm chatting very nicely to a female I met on the forums and talk frequently to couples who I meet on here.
I think they're great way of introducing yourself and breaking the ice. |

Came on here as a single fem many years ago and loved the fun on the forums. In one of the loved/hated "Would you fuck the one above" posts, replied to a guy, from miles away from me. Started chatting, he came to meet me a couple of weeks later, met again for a few times. The following August we created a couples profile and we still have the profile over 4 years later. So yes it can happen and work over long distances. Hence our profile name. |
