My partner and I decided I'd have a coil fitted as I can't take the pill and as a result don't get ANY monthly visits!!! Not only is it the perfect solution for US but it makes swinging a whole lot easier too....!!!  |

Sex actually stops my period briefly. I do have very light periods though so I risk it, but when its a heavy one I have a break. Luckily they are regular as clockwork so I can plans meets around it.  |

w were with a girl and she had the coil fitted,,she text us 3 days later to say she had to have the coil removed,,but the doc couldnt find it,,we tought she wasasking us if we found it,lol,,,we must have been very horny that night to make that happen,lol |

If you are on, you could have sex in the shower or put in a good quality absorbant tampon bout an hour before sex, start it off with a drop of water and it will absorb most of the period as most of it is water and not actually pure blood. After removing it, lube up and have plenty of wipes handy before heading for the shower. If you've got an ensuite it's a doddle. |

Well having a coil fitted is a medical procedure and everyones bodies will react differently to hormones, so its obvious that some people will have problems and others won't. |

We don't lay off sex together at any time, except rarely for extreme tiredness, and just 'work' a bit more tidily during *her* periods, but we would not play with anyone else around that time. Each to their own though. |

Haven't had a period for over a year - one of the benefits of tamoxifen - but do still get temperature changes mid monht so must be getting 'blind periods'still. Has some advantages, but also major disadvantages - probably still fertile can't use any contraceptives other than condoms (OH has had the snip) so am nervous about playing these days which understandably irritates OH. Pre-tam days OH and I didn't let my period get in our way. |

I once had sex with a woman who was on...we met in a club and ended up getting a room. i had one 4 years had taken out as turned around inside me now after 6 months had the new one and its not stoping them the marina it was but this new ones not working and now been on all most 4 weeks and been to Docs last week as just back from USA he give me tablets and i am still on ....... go to hospitel july 16th see what can be done ...... feb up as stops me doing all sorts not just sex , lol xx

If your periods are really bad, which mine where, tried most things apart from the coil as just didnt like the feed back i read on it. If you have been sterlised and not wanting anymore children ask the doctor about the ballon. I had this done about 3 yrs ago now, my periods are very light and virtually pain free now. Before i would have had to go to bed for the day, been sick, migranes and bad pains and back ache that has all but virtually left now . |

I don't mind it.. I'm extra sensitive at that time but master isn't into that so I don't play.

have it ........ my first one i had 4 years worked well this new one had 3 or 4 months now not working . Go to Hospitel 26th Aug and now have Anemia its 9 should be 12 i was told ... iron is very low now having to take tablet for it ..... just feeling a bit yukk tell the truth , 7 weeks on and no sex life at all . lol things around the house getting done and my horses and yard never looked so good , lol |

A woman having her period has never bothered me regarding sex, nice and slippery and they are usually very turned on.
Some years ago I had a GF who was a WG, she always used sponge, she just used to buy the Asda brand bathroom ones, cut a piece off and bung it up, no need to lose wages.
She used to have the Depo' injecion for contraception which cut down on periods however in women in their mid to late thirties it can have some awful side affects. Bad moods, paranoia, weight gain and making sex painful, we used to say that it worked as a contaceptive on the basis that the man would be frightened of asking for sex in case he got his head bitten off. |
