Well I guess if you sent them and got blocked you weren’t for them .

If they asked and you didn’t send them , then got blocked , it saves them time by not messaging you again .

Either way I can’t see why they are weird ?

'Hi we do seem to have similar interests and mutual attraction but you didn't attach a pic to your first message so I don't want to meet'

I replied saying that I had attached a pic the the initial message if you look.

It's not really weird. It's the nature of the site and some use the block function to avoid further interaction. It's their way of saying you are not their type, without actually saying it. Personally I'd prefer to say it and only block if they become abusive, but understand that some prefer this method
