Up among the dunes is quite discrete, some way from the entry path towards the river. Haven't seen any signs either way, banning or affirming.

Yeah, I did, it shows Camber and Botany Bay. That's why I started this thread.

Camber is always very busy with families so I'd be careful there. Not sure where else you could try - maybe look for less popular beaches?
