gripe about rudeness of some couples who dont bother to write back - some advertise a party but dont respond then block you- i know its peoples right to refuse who goes to a party but a simple no thanks would show some class and not bad manners- gripe over - now to focus on the 99.9% friendly & genuine couples |

"a simple reply- no thanks is all -simplez"
I would say the same at one point but we don't reply to all that mail us. I think its as read if you don't get a reply or you are blocked then they are not interested. |

Im a bit bad at replying to everyone too
I do try but get distracted by the ones that im interested in along with existing friends that im making arrangements with,so by the time im thinking I should reply to the ones im not interested in I think they will have probably forgotten they had messaged me anyway and it does'nt really matter anymore |

Do you think yours was the only message they recieved? Perhaps they got 30+, perhaps it was just easier to delete those that didnt interest them and reply to the ones that did..... ive found you reply with a polite no thanks, then they message you back to either say thanks for replying or asking why..... suddenly your messages have doubled in amount |

quite simple really...manners cost nothing and mean everything...it takes a second to reply to an email, far shorter a lengthy message on a forum! If they insist on responding to a no thanks, then a block is warrented i think |

We noticed a profile the other day, they had a header saying they was thinking of going to a club we regularly attend. So sent this couple a lovely message along the lines of say hello, etc etc, as they said they was a little nervous. And blow me they coup, don't even bother to reply, can't stand bad manners we was only being friendly. Don't want to meet ppl with crap manners anyhow. |

I have been on sites like these for about 10 years..and this topic comes up again and again.
There is no answer apart from in my experience, the nice genuine ones usually do reply and the rest are often (but not always so please dont give me a hard time if you are the exception) fakes and timewasters.
It is frustrating when you have put effort into a proper message, even more so when it is using a mobile phone but if you let it get to you you, you are definately fighting a losing battle. Better to move onwards and upwards and eventually you will be rewarded :o) |

If people are looking for others to attend their party then I think it only fair they should reply!!
As the OP mentioned a party being advertised, I will assume the others where looking for people to show an interest??
Unsolicited mail is one thing, but when you looking for others to respond!! At least show them you have manners! |
