They tell you your Internet is being hacked.
Then they ask for your bank and credit cards you use on you your Internet so they can register them,and stop people hacking them. DON'T TELL THEM ANYTHING. It's a scam to get your card details, hang up and report to BT they can trace the call. Stay safe. |

My favourite two things....One, tell them I have no internet (I even convinced one of them that the phone line was inactive, and they had got diverted to my mobile).
Two, let them waffle on for a few mins, then, just say “OK. When I get to work, I will come and cha to you. I am a BT Engineer, and I will come and see your diagnostic system”. |

Had three recorded messages today from bt saying they'll disconnect internet tomorrow due to suspicious activity. Press 1 for more information.
BT doesn't provide my internet
Just warning others not to fall for it. |
