TBH it does seem a little unfair in these days of supposed equality - no reason a club couldn't cap the number of single men, women or couples to maintain a balance.

Very very true .... couples prices are midrange because there are loads
Single girls is cheaper because not many go and it’s an encouragement for them
Men - most would probably pay 3 times that for a chance of playing

The trouble with single men paying more is it often seems to have the effect of them feeling entitled to some action because they've paid a lot to be there
(Not saying ALL, as there are many on the scene who have no such expectations) |

In answer to the original question, would we pay the same price as a single guy. The answer is No. Simply because we couldn't justify spending that amount of money.
Is it unfair on single guys? Probably but its their choice and going by the number of single guys in clubs most are happy to take a chance.
The bit that annoys us is the number of guys would turn up at Chams Monday night Bi Night session and once through the door immediately declare themselves totally straight. Not sure what they are hoping for

There is an unusual pricing structure at an upcoming club event.
Single men £30
Couples £30
Single women £15
In a couple the male is paying the same as a single man so his partner is coming in for free but a single lady is charged £15. Odd that two single ladies are charged the same as a couple. Single ladies might hang about outside to see if they can pair up with a male rather than paying £15. |

Nope! I pay £5 on average but wouldn’t be prepared to pay what SM do 
It’s unfair for those regular club goers - maybe they need a loyalty card!?!

My understanding is that it is unlawful discrimination and prohibited by the Equality and Human Rights Commission in the United Kingdom - but quite honestly, who’s going to challenge it, especially because the outcome wouldn’t be advantageous, for anyone? |

I was a regular at a club until recently unfortunately due to personal reasons haven’t been for a while.
But the way I Look at it is it’s a ‘pub with benefits’ I would probably pay the £25/30 on a ‘regular’ night out and wouldn’t have as much fun. It’s unfortunate that some single guys see the entry fee as some sort of right - It’s not an entitlement to play. If the fee was lower it would attract far more of these and if we don’t pay then the clubs simply wouldn’t have enough people to stay open. My local club is fantastic and a lot of work goes on from the owners. It’s nearly always busy and a great night out.
I love the club scene and I can’t wait to get back into it. |

I'm not completely sure but I don't think private members clubs are bound by the same laws/rules.
In answer to the OP, I honestly don't know if I would because I'd have reduce the frequency of my nights out and as I don't have alot of free time, my nights out are very important to me.

We happen to agree with the pricing. Firstly it discourages alot of the men who cant be bothered to put any effort it. Secondly when coupled with entry limits if done correctly it stops women and couples getting swamped( one of the reasons why couples and women only evenings are so popular). When go to a club we go to socialise 1st and play 2nd and even then we dont play unless we want to. |
