The site is incredibly transient and people move on for various reasons - real life stuff, frustration with the site etc - it can leave you wondering at times but as I said it's the nature of the site and not a great deal you can do about it. |

Cancer sucks big time, horrible horrible disease.
Maybe the guy just wanted to slide into his own thoughts and not bother others due to his illness.
But for you its the not knowing that hurts. We all like closure. I hope u find it one day. X |

yes i had a friend who was very ill and had to have a big brain op. He came to see me to say goodbye as he had left the scene. When he came to see me he could hardly walk and was really shaky. I often think of him

Yes...I spoke with 2 women on a regular basis here. One left the site as she found a boyfriend and wanted to settle down with him.
The other just disappeared....but that is life I suppose |

I had a meet with someone. We kept in touch by messaging afterwards. Then he started having suicidal thoughts and I messaged loads trying to support him then after about six months he vanished. I hope it was because he got better. |

I met a married woman on here and we had a lovely few years meeting and she took ill we kept in touch by phone and text but they discovered she had MND
I have not had a text from her since March as she has lost her speach hopefully she's still fighting.
