I shall be in the south of Phuket from 4th to 18th Jan, might travel around a bit once I see what the scene is like in the south. Anyone in the area at that time who would like to meet for a drink and see what happens? |

"Koh Samui from 4/3" your certainly in the right location at that time . The southern Gulf will be entering its hot settled weather time. So bring some high factor sun products you guys. Don't burn that delicious body ?? . Let me know if you want some help with applying it

"I’m in Koh Tao until 23rd March where I’m off to Koh Phangan, before leaving for Khao Sok on 27th March and then off to Singapore on 29th. It’s so nice here!"
Any tips on Koh Sok mate? How much did it cost? Solo? |

We qre planning to visit Thailand in December/January and was wandering what is the best way to do it? We have bought flights tickets to Bangkok and return from Phuket. Is it worth to get organised tour or just book hotels and travel on our own? |

Pre-book your first two or three nights in a Bangkok hotel. Then do-it-yourself as you go along.
There are loads of local travel agents. If there isn’t one in your hotel, Reception will direct you to the nearest.
There are plenty of hotels in the unlikely event that your first choices are fully-booked.
This will give you freedom to choose where to go and how long to stay, based on the up-to-date advice of fellow travellers and on what you find.
You’ll avoid deadline anxiety and wasting money staying in places you don’t like for one reason or another, e.g. too hot, too commercialised, etc.

Definitely just travel on your own.
I always book a hotel for the first 3 nights, then kind of wing it when I'm there. Booking.com or Agoda always have hotels last minute, and sometimes good deals to be found. |

Depends … if you want a particular resort/room type it’s the peak season so they may be full… if you’re happy to take what Evers available there’s plenty of accommodation alternatives but you may have to take what’s available |
