Most hotels are fine, I would stay away from any thing that is low cost in PDI. It's probably cheap for a reason .
Again depends on your level if swinging, there are a few swingers only bungalows there, but because of the nature and size of the beaches and clubs , you can make your own fun..

hotels are older in playa but most swinging clubs are around cita centre area inc comeback bar, hotels are better in maspalomas and more pricey.
we tend to find a rented appartment in playa close to swinging clubs otherwise its about 5 euros a trip from maspalomas area |

hi daffy n daisy weve been loads of times it depends your budget and if you like eating out theres loads good restaurants near all hotels as long as you not on outskirts 3euro a taxi ride gets you anywhere go on travel republic there is hotels for all budgets we going in may anymore info pm us but you will get a lot more advice soon on here," _unlovers "are the best to ask on here |

Maspalomas doesn't have hotels as such, there are dozens of bungalow complexes . Campo International is the better area there as some of the complexes are off the beaten track. Try Travel Republic as a search , I like Sandy golf, Duna Golf . There are easy to get to and always taxis outside.
Now if your looking for good hotels any one in Melanors or near the light house IFA Faro etc are very comfortable. |

Yea we go there 3 times a year and know lots of good hotels with good budgets
Luckily we tend to find offers occasionally
Some decent hotels near cita centre are Rey Carlos...Catarina...Los Aguacates
All in walking distance to nightlife and very close to the beach
Some gorgeous places to stay in maspalomas including the well known la mirage but you then need taxis which are cheap but its all preference really

we have stayed in 1,2,3 and 4 star hotels ,both in playa del ingles and maspolamas and we have never been somewhere we wouldnt go back to,just depends what you want to spend,next to the cita is a bonus  |

For me I'd have to say it's got to be the Lopesan Costa Meloneras. Fantastic hotel, great location for bars, shops and lovely restaurants and right next to the dunes. |
