It did re -open!! we were there 3 weeks after police raid...he has had to change the "Rules" slightly...and any contact must be in your own room..NO playroom anymore..Many folk that had booked for more than 7 days .Had their monies back and went elswhere. In feb this year the atmosphere was VERY down and Quiet!! The lounge was OK..depends on how long you are there for.The meet and greet nights used to be tues and thurs. But as with any club or meet and greet bar its difficult to get " IN " with the crowd that use these places..dint find any other bar/clubs for swingers..BUT we did have a great time in the area and are planning to go back soon...sure you will enjoy.xxxx |

We went for a few days 2 years ago, not long before it was raided.
It was a little run down and the pool was freezing as it had no sun.
Eclectic mix of people from around the word which was nice.
Far too many petty rules, felt like a prison camp at times with very rude and unfriendly staff.
Every place that has ever existed in Thailand for parties advertised on the internet has been raided and those attending arrested. It is against the law there.
If the owners pay the correct people "tea money" they will stay open for a while but it always ends in tears.
It would be better if they dropped the parties and kept the fun among the guests, discretion is the key word with an understanding of Thai culture.

I am told that everything is back to normal under new ownership. a good place to meet people is the Lounge on a friday night soi 2 pratumnak road Jomtien not far from Ramakien near hot rods motorcycles Harley shop. |

We had a very relaxed but sexually active holiday at Rama Kien last November the staff were amazing.
We went to The Lounge during our stay and met several couples who were more than happy to make conversation and offers to meet with them at other venues  .
We have heard very positive reports about the new Thai management that took over in January 2014 and that the Saturday parties were going very well and had been very well attended.
We will certainly be returning to Rama Kien as soon as we can face another 12 hour flight |
