We had the same thoughts when we went over to sharm last may.. Be careful even photographs of yourselves nude or engaging in sex is considered as pornographic and illegal!! |

What happens in your bedroom is private, so others wouldnt know. Egyptian locals wouldnt be allowed in, but I think that wasnt your plan anyway. Great weather just now, so enjoy yourselves if youre going. Some good deals on. |

Sorry but its not their bedroom.
Its a hotel room hence a public place. Besides if its against the law then a "private" locked door doesn't count, your still arrested and charged with at least: indecency, even if its not in public.
The whole society is effectively sexless, so homosexuality is rife due to the lack of available females, but the cops don't turn a blind eye to it, least not without an archer in their hand. White & Black (non arabic) women are considered "loose" so are potential at risk of being considered as prostitutes if they ill-behave. I don't know if single women still have their rooms searched at night but they used to?
Its a nice sunny place for vanilla's who don't nookie or drink on the beach. |

Do you have a date month/page number as ive looked thro over 100 pages and cant find what your referring to. only peps trying to arrange meets. I sounds like an interesting read.
Do you know if they have declared a moratorium in Sham itself?
FYI some of my information comes from some expats who were "stationed" in Egypt, and from other sources they include swingers.

I can understand the warnings but a bit of common sense has to prevail here
Half of the stuff mentioned would no doubt be frownd upon if walking down the street in Cairo or Alexandria
Been to sharm several times and it's fine
Seen loads of tourists sunbathing topless
Seen loads of waiters sneaking around with women in the hotel .
And what are the chances of a couple being caught in the privacy of their own bedroom in a hotel ?

sharm has a reputation in Egypt as a very morally loose place , that's why 95/% of workers there are men .
most Egyptian families will not allow there daughters to work there because of this reputation .
the bit about legal partners is only enforced when it is an Egyptian man with a non Egyptian woman , they would not be allowed a room together unless they had there marriage certificate with them .
we have met and played with a couple in sharm b4 , we where told the couple would be allowed in the hotel and to have a drink and look round but they where not allowed in our room .
what are they gonna do break the hotel door down to catch us ! i don't think so lol
prostitution is rife in sharm mainly Russian girls
in luxor middle aged white women openly walk round with Egyptian toy boys holding hands and kissing .
i think the police and security forces have more important issues to deal with than foreign couples that want to have some fun behind closed doors !!
