Amsterdam a single guys report - Sept 2010

East Grinstead

Okay being here for four nights now, tonight is the quiet night (7am flight out) so thought I'd summarise for people current state of play as I found it.

Casa Rossa - the well known live sex show, yes they have sex, a little mechanical, but contrary to some reviews suggesting limp sex, guys were rock hard the night I went. Audience participation, lots of shy people, but on the banana show, if the first too people take large bites the third person basically gets to suck it out of her pussy. Audience was very well behaved, no obvious couple playing, so not a place for exhibitionist play in the theatre. Friday night, get there early, and 55 euro gets you one drink and as long as you want (1 hour and show repeats), but also gets you into Banana Bar for 1 hour (much cheaper to do both on this one ticket)

Banana Bar - the famous one, very variable guys, best done as a group. As of 19th Sept a new pole dancing level with different entrance rules at the top floor (old 2 bars downstairs continue). Apparently from talking to bouncers, minimal entrance fee, buy drinks and pay for dances, i.e. more like a strip club as people know. Night I was there 3 guys got to dribble beer over a naked girl and suck it off her nipples etc. The usual banana trick, which sometimes looks like real oral sex. Suspect if any lady visitors where to be naughty so long as it got guys spending money they'd be ok. Supposed to be a one hour time limit, but they missed mine, left after 1 hr 30, was not too busy so maybe not so fussy.

La Vie En Prost, was the only real lap dance place in Amsterdam before. 5 Euro entrance, 12 Euro large beer, 21 Euro rum and . Very nice girls - can spend a long time there, just keep the beer flowing and the odd dance. If you help persuade a group of shy people to buy a dance or two it goes down well with the girls. Usual situatin of guys being shy, so many just sat there for their dance, rather than taking part. They do go full nude, and titty/arse touching ok, and some may give you an arse grinding (enough to know she was a little wet).

Peep shows - the biggest about 75m north of Casa Rossa on same side. 2 euro for about 1m30 in booth, one girl on rotating dias. You can just about see other booths, shoulder only view, so exhibitionists might be able to get a little fun with boobs on window. Private booths, 2 Euro and they arrive (you pick girl from menu), 20 Euro nude, spread, 40 to 50 Euro fingers in, 70 dildo etc. A little cramped for a couple, but if horny provides a private place to play.

Bars in RLD, De Stoof on same canal as Casa Rossa, 2 Euro small 1/3rd beer, friendly staff and a central location for a little break.

B-1 Cinema - if you are a greedy girl the place to go, 1st floor straight porn and cinema seats, 2nd floor couches and gay porn, 3rd floor video's and booths/glory holes. 7 euro's entrance from sex shop below.

Place is full of couples and groups wandering, with curiosity, but most are scared of interaction. Groups of lads waiting outside cabins as one of group is getting a 50 or 100 Euro session.

Phew a lot to type, but thought might as well add it, any questions feel free. While was here as a single guy, it was good in that people were happy to chat, i.e. sit at bar and people would chat, even in the clubs, so a lot better than the UK where you feel like billy no mates on your own.

Would say this, decide your spending limit, take a small wallet with you, and for places where you pay in public view, have put the right money in pocket for easy access first. Saw no trouble, but did get accosted by one 'tramp' offering various stuff, and then insisting on money, kept walking and mentioned the CCTV at end of alley, he dropped back, followed so stopped at a hotel lobby for a short while. So while 99.5% are cool people, including sex club staff there is the odd one.

If you are a couple looking to be naughty in a place, impression I get is just enquire of door staff on etiquette.

Don't be afraid to bargain, particularly at quieter times of day.

Food in town is generally above UK average I would say, not had one bad meal in 4 days (eating out twice a day). For really good meat, Gaucho's is cheaper than the UK, around 45 euro for starter/steak and 2 glasses or wine, in UK that would be around £70 to 100. Generally though good food for 25 Euro per head.
