Hi, we are looking to book a short break to Maspalomas in Jan 2016. It will be our first time over there, and was hoping 'gran canaria' veterans could offer some advice / there experiences etc upon this post! Is it really that much fun? We do like abit of nudism so we are looking forward to the time on the nude beach.

January is generally a busy month in the clubs as over the winter there is a large influx of Scandanavians and other Euoropeans staying in GC for the winter. As for the beach and dunes that's down to the weather last year January was quite mild with lots of good days. This winter just gone was the worst since 1998. Lots of windy days and cloudy days with temperatures in the high teens most days and cool nights. So yes it's a good time to visit but it's down to the weather for your beach days.
