Without doubt you can buy beach chair in the village. Go to Green Bazzar in Heliopolis, they have all stuff like that.

yes you can, but you will get them cheaper in the hyper markets outside. Beach towels 10€ just bought some. Chairs seen them but not priced them. The tip on the thread is very useful - here on France they are great recyclers' and you will fine old unwanted items by the bins, so you may get lucky.

someone whose a biker told me it was an expensive trip on a bike. Due to long straight stretches of road they wore their bike tyres and it cost them £800 for 2 bikes on their return to UK. Ryanair £80-90 pp return then hire or buy your kit here.

Thanks.

We're doing a tour through France & the Swiss alps. Leaving home 1st June. Using B&B's & F1 hotels. Visiting many places, Monaco, Nice, Cannes, st Tropez etc. A week in Cap to unwind and then another week to get home. Not doing any Motorways at all!

Traveling light. Get home June 29th.

Any suggestions to make our stay more comfortable appreciated.

Avoiding motorways is a good move. See more of France and stay out of (what can be) blistering sun.

If you get the chance, Montalivet is worth a visit. No naughties but fine naturist beaches.

Enjoy ??

we are flying ryan air but i think you missed the point. motorcycling is part of the fun.most bikers use petol going nowhere .so a nice trip with a destination like cap d'agde is twice as nice i would love to take my bike .

we bought beach towels in the shops under heliopolis last year 15 to 20 euros each. so better get them outside the centre probably half the price.

we did notice people putting chairs /towels in the bin area. probably for the same reason as us .ryanair's 10kg limit

its worth stopping off at the visitors centre so you can get fab pics. Also visit the museum section and see how it was built. The bridge is actually curved and designed by Sir Norman Foster!
