Depends where you are going! If it's Bangkok go to the Nana area. Good bars, etc. Just jump in a taxi and ask for the Nana Plaza. Soi Cowboy good too. Again just take a taxi. Stay away from Patpong expensive and a tourist trap. If you have time best to go to Pattaya about an hour and half from Bangkok. Stay at the Queen Victoria Pub there. Clean cheap and English owned.
