we are looking to visit the first week in april and are totally new to CG
is the main resort playa del ingles?
anything we should look for or avoid whilst booking up and holidaying there?
any other areas worth visiting,if so we will hire a car

You will probably not need to hire a car as taxis are really cheap to get around. Playa De Ingle is the main resort for British and swingers bars/clubs etc. Check out the Spain forum and they are loads of threads about hotels, clubs, bars etc. The beach is great and the dunes can be fun but not if your easily shocked. Kiosk 4 on the beach is a nudist area and although not a swingers location many choose to meet there during the day and arrange meets for the evening or head into the dunes. Plenty of suncream and always take loads of water if you venture into the dunes it's can be a scorcher. I am going back 11th to 18th April as I love the area but stay at Maspalomas. It's only 5 euros by taxi to all the nightlife. Have a great holiday and enjoy. The Yumbo centre is worth a visit and many bars at the Cita centre and Gran Chaparral all close by in PDI. |
