It's very cold We loved Essaouira on the coast, a few hours drive from Marakesh, less tourists bit still busy, foods cheaper as and beers on rooftop bars are lovely! Marakesh itself, stay in the kasbah as it's much more authentic than the 'new town'. Food and lovely coffees and beetroot smoothies at Kasbar or at Clock.

Take care with the trips out to the Atlas mountains, they tend to take you via argan oil places, and trinket places and dodgy food at dodgy side of the road all but abandoned hotels, that said, the mountains are amazing!

Enjoy, it's a lovely country!!

I went at the beginning of December a few years ago. The weather was lovely during the day, T-shirt weather but it was really cold at night. We treated ourselves to a hamman (think that's what it's called). We chose a relatively expensive one but it was worth every penny! Can't remember the name but if you want to relax it's well worth it. There are some listed on trip advisor!

Have a great time xx
