I was there in January. Awfully dull town, just get out snorkeling, day trips and a couple of days in Luxor 
Ooh and there are a LOT of hot young gigalos wandering around if you're willing to pay and can sneak them into your hotel (and no, didn't myself but was tempted) |

We have stayed at this hotel and have to say it was a lovely experience. The food is good The beer sadly is served from cans unless you drink in the dining room.
The staff are great. The town is not worth the visit awful place. |

Say what? I didn't know that was a thing. It's not something I would entertain but I'm surprised to hear it is available for those who want it.

Was there three weeks ago with the kids. Nice hotel. Basic room food was ok. Luckily the place was full of kfc and mc Donald’s so the kids ate well. Some parts of the town are nice other will let’s say the cops aren’t carrying ak47’s for nothing
As for sexy times. I’d keep them to the resort your staying in
You could have some desert fun but watch the winds can be quite strong and will blow sand where you don’t want it.
The locals are ok but drive like cunts but having said that not many people in the hotel complex seemed t leave and the nearest Egyptology is a three hour drive
Just go have fun. Enjoy the sun its bloody hot as and wear mosi repellent as the cunts will bite your arse to shreds

I'd highly recommend it plenty of restaurants the pool is about 90 metres long it has its own water park the food is fine and the service is top notch. It's a 5 min walk to the mall and the animation team try to get people involved in activities. The beach is at the end of the hotel and you can book diving etc and trips to the pyramids Luxor etc etc. |

We arrive 10th....Sunrise resorts (adult only hotel) Cant wait need a bit of sun and one or four glasses of bubbly lol |

Mosquitos can be a problem, easy fix go to an Egyptian pharmacy a real one not a tourist one, ask for the injection for mosquito bits, it's basically a anti histamine, it doesn't stop them biting bit does help to stop the itching, it's the itching that causes the nasty red sores as you scratch the skin off.
Lasts around four weeks and costs no more than 100 Egyptian pounds about £4 English. |
