thinking of having a few days break there , never been but always wanted to , can anyone recommend a decent hotel to stay in please , also would like to hook up with some locals for fun , pm me any info please.

Don't go to the mount Murray! The hotel is faded and worn and the food is dire.

It's also a long way from anything else.

The Sefton or the Claremont - both are nice and right by the main town centre in Douglas.

The Palace (Hilton) small too hot rooms but good location and it has a casino!
