I'll be there... Haven't seen Maiden in so long it'll feel brand new again I hope.

As for a band recommendation I'll go with Sister Shotgun, met their singer at a party last year and bene following since

Download is always full of bands i want to see before one of them dies.

Looking forward to kiss and maiden because theyre always fun, but for real metal bloodstock is better.

Luckily we have had tickets for both for what seems kike hundreds of years now!

Download is always great for sloppy d*unken threesome sex though.

We will be in the disabled camp. Anyone else?

I’m doing the full 5 days, as for band recommendations, how much of the lineup do you actually know OP?

Newer bands I’d recommend are…

Those Damn Crows (these guys will be doing arenas in future)

Kris Barras band

Sleep Token

Cassyette

Dirty Honey

Boston Manor

Some of the more established acts…

Shinedown (future headliners surely)

Volbeat

Myles Kennedy

Skindred

Black label society

There’s loads of others I’d recommend.. Saturday is going to be full of clashes for me

I’m there from Wednesday early afternoon, first time, part of my 60th birthday celebrations.

On Saturday, Maiden of course and Megadeth, but also looking forward to Those Damn Crows.

Massive Wagons on Sunday should be fun too.

Thanks, I’ll keep an eye out.

I remember a new band that had a crowd spilling out of one of the smaller tents during the day at Reading in 2015. That was Frank Carter @ The Rattlesnakes, seen them a few times since then.

Really excited to see Alestorm, Tremonti and Spiritbox, as others have mentioned already.

Super-duper excited for Mastodon, Malevolence, Maiden and Megadeath. Probably other bands beginning with "M" also...

Looking forward to seeing 3 Doors Down - the lightest band I will see all weekend, but their greatest hits album is a long-time fave and I never thought I would get to see them live.

Oh, and I cannot wait for The Darkness

Should just go, you'll soon make friends

I pretty much always end up going to festivals and gigs alone as my friends are, well, unreliable

Hehe, yeah, I always go on my own also - everyone is friendly and you'll end up chatting to new people and have a great time.

I even signed some complete stranger's birthday card yesterday
