I tend to find people prefer to meet socially first then connect on here.

I’ve only once found someone directly.

Others I have met got talking and found that they are on here.

People usually direct men to focus on their profile when struggling. People can't give direct feedback on that unless asked for.

I'd suggest going along to a club , maybe a newbie event if there's one.

I've found it helps get a few verifications too and it's good to just mix and chat with people.
