The hotel scene where Kevin works on his cannon balls in the pool wasn’t filmed at The Plaza Hotel as the hotel doesnt have a pool on site , the swimming pool scene was filmed at The Four Seasons Hotel in Chicago , if you go onto google & type in the Four Seasons Hotel Chicago & look at the photo of the pool & you will notice that the window frames & ceiling are both the same.
