Honestly, gaming is my only proper hobby.
I can usually be found on the computer after work.
I play a variety of games, don't have a single favourite, but I have dropped a lot of hours on Warcraft.
Next step is DnD, just need to find a group |

I'm certainly both, play a lot of pc games, read graphic novels, very passionate about some if anyone fancies talking about them.
been in a couple of d&d groups, dm'd one, but it's a tricky thing to organise sadly. |

It's a lot easier if you know people that do or want to, otherwise finding a group can be tricky. Maybe it's just because of how antisocial I've become. Lol. |

Yeah that's the issue, I only know one other person that would play.
Plus being antisocial is a major issue here as well lol |

Don't really game unless it's Roblox with the kids but I would class myself as a geek as such.
I really need to get myself to a comic con, there is one now in Aberdeen but I think I'd need to go to London for the bigger names. |

It can be tricky, though there are games online and if you can find a local game shop or group that can help a lot.
Any pc gamers on here, we could always create a steam group, add people and see if you have games in common? |

I flit between so many games but am mostly a PC gamer.
Total War games absolutely have me hooked.
However I do love some DnD and at the risk of really outing myself Warhammer.
The only other thing that I love and miss playing is Cards Against Humanity 😈😂 |

An interest of mine for a longtime and not ashamed to admit it I am back playing Fallout 4 for the millionth time currently.
Been interesting watching the Fallout TV series and all the references to the game have been cool.
Love anything where you can loose yourself in it's world. Be it the Witcher, Red dead, Bioshock, GTA ect...
We need more ladies gaming though!

Fallout 4, for all its many many failings, is still great. |

People would call me both.
Most of my gaming is JRPGs or Football Manager, geeky stuff would be Pokémon or Yu-Gi-Oh card collecting and Grading.
Would be nice to see who else is into similar, could do with some more friends! |

Only one I never owned is PS5 and never will unless it drops in price enough. it's more expensive now than at launch 6 years ago.
Also the only PlayStation that still works is the PS1. all the others died for some reason.
Started out with C64 in late 80s then Megadrive PS1 PS2 PC PS3 PS4
I tend to be a pc game these days due to all the big games on PS and XBOX are on PC as well. Last of us Ghost Tsushima etc and halo, gears.
Keep dipping in and out of the last of us 2 playing chronological mode which I don't like but got to get through it.

Not really a gamer these days (don’t feel like a bit of Mario Kart qualifies) but am still a huge geek - interested in TTRPG’s, board games and the like plus comics, Star Trek, Lego, Disney parks. Might make it to a convention this year |

Big Arc raiders fan and been hamming a bunch on bf6. I used to play halo and Destiny 2 for ages but went off both over the last year. Just built a rtx5090 machine in October so managed to dodge the RAM crisis |

I’ve never been much of a gamer but am a bit of a geek. Enjoy building and tweaking computers, homelabing, and I’ve started to really embrace my love of Star Trek. Considering going to a convention this year. Live long and prosper 🖖 |

Use to be a big gamer mainly on Xbox and still got Xbox one but that’s really just used for streaming now.
In terms of being a geek I would say I’m a bit of a geek especially with the superhero stuff |

Collect 2000ad comics, reading through one piece from the beginning at the moment.
Always been a geek and proud of it. |

Recently heard the God of War trilogy is being remade for PS5. super stoked for them because the modern games bored the pants off me.
For me GOW 2018 is a huge downgrade in terms of action. I was bored with it after a couple of hours unlike the first 3 games they engaged me and I wanted to progress.
The behind shoulder cam means we cannot see where an enemy is coming from. it's way slower. The upgrade system is too confusing and uninteresting there's way too much stuff, I ended up not bothering with it for the most part which probably made it bit harder for me.
The same boring puzzles throwing axes at things, that was so tedious after the 3rd time.
No jump, and kratos just vaults over gaps with a press of a button, no need to time it correctly or anything it's just so slow dull and boring, everything the originals are not.
I've had it for about 2 years and still not completed it and I doubt I will and certainly will not buy Ragnarok

Always had a console for gaming but I got fed up of a new console being released £500 to then have another released a year later. So I got my self a gaming PC that I can just upgrade as and when needed.. rather than a whole new console.
Call of duty warzone is currently what I'm playing. |

"I am currently impatiently waiting for the release of the new Fable game
Fyre"
Oh yes, I loved the last 2 Fable games, so can’t wait for this too.
I’m currently playing Star Wars Outlaws, which I’m enjoying |

Have you played Jedi survivor? it's a much better game I was surprised how much I enjoyed it. I probably wouldn't have bought it but I got it free when I bought my graphics card. |

Massive World of Warcraft player, always looking for people to join the guild or dungeon/raid groups.
Have a bunch of consoles I'm selling off, ps1, ps2, ps3, wii, mega drive, 360s. Some with faults. |

Given I have n arcade machine and consoles and computers going back to the 80s. Probably a gamer. For leisure, play palia. Otherwise a variety. Adore a good third person adventure |

"Currently playing Far cry 6, RDR2 (again), and I also play a bit of NBA2K.
I also enjoy graphic novels - V for Vendetta, Hellblazer, 2000ad."
Loved NBA in the 90s. The Bulls were sensational practically an all star team with Rodman, Pippen and of course the legend Jordan. I still have NBA live 95 for the megadrive |

"Currently playing far cry primal for first time. It’s quite neat game if a touch repetitive "
Primal was OK. If you have only just ventured into Far Cry then I highly recommend both 3 and 5. 6 is good so far but haven't completed it yet. |

I'm a fairly big nerd in general. PC gamer, doing a bit of everything but primrily RPGs. Currently going back through Larian's games.
Love reading, boardgames, anime.
Always stuck into a fantasy novel.
Have tried some TTRPGs (GMd for some friend) but never have found a consistent group. |

Been a bit of a gamer since the 80's playing Spectrum games. Owned lots of consoles and PCs. Now play PS5 when I can drag my kids away from it. Currently playing Spiderman 2 (as it was free on PSN) |

Hi fellow nerds!
Vintage gaming here, mainly PC pre-2005 and older consoles. SciFi too, again mainly older stuff (TNG, DS9, etc).
Oddly I was about to post a meet for next week if any ladies/couples (inc TS!) wanted to hang out and watch old Trek! |

Hi. Not so much a gamer these days, but I did recently purchase some Warhammer miniatures and paint set. I haven't had the courage to start building and painting yet though. I went for Chaos Space Marines if that means anything to anyone lol |

"Gamer.
Trying to get into Witcher 3, everyone says how good it is and I’ve tried many times but there is far too much dialogue in it for me. Going to give it another go but I am struggling."
I've heard that one before. It's a fantastic game because it meshes great storytelling with it's gameplay very well. If you're not looking for something with dialogue and story, it's not going to be your thing.
No use trying to force yourself to like something just because it's popular.
If you're looking for less dialogue and more gameplay in a similar style, I'd suggest going for souls-likes. |

"Anyone playing Marathon?
Also looking for someone to come with me to get card sleeves "
Not the new one, but I played the hell out of Marathon on the Mac back in the mid-90s. I should really try the new one if I have something that'll run it |
