I am thinking, a lot of pubs are (sadly) struggling.
Why aren’t there more pub SOCIALS?
A quiet pub out on the edge of town, maybe close to public transport, with a big car park. ‘Dress to impress’ dress code?
Surely there would be lots of demand from Fabswingers?
Surely quiet pubs would welcome a crowd in their function room with open arms? Guest list & could charge single guys a significant entry fee, to balance numbers?
I suggest the key would be F & MF hosts advertising?
Fab-name badges perhaps?
LBGTQ friendly on specific dates? With perhaps special TV or similar hosts that night.
What do folks think? |

I went to one a couple years ago in a pub, it was social only and it was a good laugh. From the hat I remember organising for the host was a bit of a nightmare, the initial amount of people was larger than who turned up but there was a cover charge for venue hire because the amount of people, but the people were reluctant to pay and then a lot didn’t turn up in the end |

We would like to attend more socials, and no expectations meet ups in pubs to network and get to know people would be great. |

I've never quite understood why socials have to be organised and kept away from 'polite society'.
Why do we not just occasionally nominate a pub as a starting point for a pub crawl or something similar.
People could meet wearing an agreed garment, flower, anything agreed on and then just see where the night goes.
I sure people can be trusted to keep their clothes on in public! |
