Midlothian

We're coming to your amazing country in August for nearly a month and we were wondering where the fun places are. We're doing route 66 then spending time in San Diego. Palm Springs then Vegas. Hopefully we'll be having some sexy fun along the way to so I hope you locals like the Scots.

Suz and Ricky.

"

Bits of it are. We drove from Seligman to Kingman Arizona on 66, about 90 miles. I40 is the main drag but the old road is still there in places.

My mate and I drove 66 in June this year. It exists in stretches towards the west. Not much on the east side. Its a great experience as you see how big the USA really is and how varied.

There are a few places on the heritage trail but Route 66 is no more

The I40 is a soulless road through the desert

You obviously have not done any research

Those who do not look will never find.

There is still plenty of route 66 roads still alive and kicking and many a town to stop in.
