How long is a piece of string? We don't know the government full plans nor if things will alter. Many won't do anything like Cummings and reinterpret the law. Those dates will be the minimum.
Some people only meet at clubs, so that postpones it until they do. I'm guessing that a good number will be permitted and will want to late this year. If the virus picks up levels again, people will back down.
The other things that help to support meets are coffee shops and pubs, for social meets. Again, not open yet. |

I just replied with literally the same points on another thread. No places for social meets is a big issue. |

Well technically from Monday you can officially arrange to meet someone for a social drink in your garden or their garden, anything else that occurs in the rest room I suppose is a judgement call for both parties involved, whether thats enough for this site to open up fully on Monday I'm not sure. Dating apps may do though .... |

I think that dating apps have been fully functional throughout, even when we weren’t allowed to meet anyone outside of our household. I’ve had a couple of social distancing dates in the park. No idea when we will be allowed to touch each other! |

I think we have to use are own personal judgement on this.I am sure we all know people who are meeting or suspect of meeting,some here might be.
I have in my head a time when I feel it will be pretty safe for me to meet.
When this does happen I will isolate for 7 days afterwards just in case the worst has happened as I would hate to pass it on.
I know some will criticise my honesty and that is there right.
I do know that this first meeting is very likely months away so plan to enjoy the sunshine in the mean time |
