In the first wave here there was a church festival in Molins attended by 2,000 people and that spread Covid and the word of god all over France.

In my OP I said “holidaymakers not locals”. However, to quote directly from the article;
“The rate of infection was four times higher among naturists in the resort than in the village itself” - apologies for the ambiguity in my original post. |

People just dont know how to social distance! And it's this sort of behaviour that will spoil it for others! I plan to go to the South of Europe for the winter but if this keeps happening there will be more lockdowns and restrictions.
I've been all over Europe this year by train and I've not caught anything. Travel is fine if people act responsibly.  |

I was at a naturist camp here in the UK a week ago, and no, most were not. That said there was a lot of provision to reduce risk, e.g. facilities more spaced out, every other shower closed etc. Hand sanitiser about the place.
A few people did wear masks when in communal areas though.
