The PM has said those in the most infectious tier should refrain from traveling to a less infectious tier.

"Have you seen this written anywhere?"

That’s my point.........the PM has said........there does not appear to be a restriction on travel from a high tier area.

Tier 3 - Very high:

No mixing of households indoors and outdoors, including in private gardens.

Pubs and bars to close.

Restaurants, and pubs that can operate as restaurants, allowed to stay open.

Local politicians will decide if gyms, betting shops, casinos, hairdressers and beauty salons should close.

Non-essential shops, schools and universities to remain open.

*Avoid non-essential travel..

*Travel outside area advised again.

https://www.gov.uk/guidance/local-covid-alert-levels-what-you-need-to-know

All at the government website . . .

you should try to avoid travelling outside the very-high alert level area you are in or entering a very-high alert level area, other than for things like work, education or youth services, to meet caring responsibilities or if you are travelling through as part of a longer journey.

you should avoid staying overnight in another part of the UK if you are resident in a very-high alert level area, or avoid staying overnight in a very-high alert level area if you are resident elsewhere.

Search the word 'TRAVEL' on that webpage to read it yourself.

Common sense should help too.

I would think it obvious not to mix the tiers, unless absolutely necessary.

Which is why it's probably best to take with a pinch of salt anything Boris says..

We need to collect something from Liverpool but now envisage a cold war esq swap at the border, socially distanced etc..

Or delivery..

Obviously people have to travel for work, I'm not sure the guidance would incorporate the pleasure part though. The idea is not to mix in those areas unless absolutely necessary, but it's your choice, of course.

You just have to abide by tier 2 restrictions if you go to a tier 1 area.

Look up the rules

Just what I was going to say . You have to adhere to the guidelines in the place you live, so that would not include mixing pleasure in a different tiered area.

Afraid you could be wasting your words of wisdom.

It is very apparent, some on here will see a rule and do their level best to get around it. Even when most others can see the sense and will do what is being asked.

We all know, some on here will still meet and have Sex with strangers, they cannot put a “meet today” on, so they advertise via a status .

So many have the it “ won’t happen to me” attitude, but when it does, it is someone else’s fault.
