That’s my point.........the PM has said........there does not appear to be a restriction on travel from a high tier area. |

Tier 3 - Very high:
No mixing of households indoors and outdoors, including in private gardens.
Pubs and bars to close.
Restaurants, and pubs that can operate as restaurants, allowed to stay open.
Local politicians will decide if gyms, betting shops, casinos, hairdressers and beauty salons should close.
Non-essential shops, schools and universities to remain open.
*Avoid non-essential travel..
*Travel outside area advised again.

you should avoid staying overnight in another part of the UK if you are resident in a very-high alert level area, or avoid staying overnight in a very-high alert level area if you are resident elsewhere.

We need to collect something from Liverpool but now envisage a cold war esq swap at the border, socially distanced etc..

Obviously people have to travel for work, I'm not sure the guidance would incorporate the pleasure part though. The idea is not to mix in those areas unless absolutely necessary, but it's your choice, of course. |

You just have to abide by tier 2 restrictions if you go to a tier 1 area.

Afraid you could be wasting your words of wisdom.
It is very apparent, some on here will see a rule and do their level best to get around it. Even when most others can see the sense and will do what is being asked.
We all know, some on here will still meet and have Sex with strangers, they cannot put a “meet today” on, so they advertise via a status .
So many have the it “ won’t happen to me” attitude, but when it does, it is someone else’s fault. |
