This data really does highlight the question "why close pubs that don't serve food", seeing as the report clearly highlights other settings (mainly education) are the significant locations of transmission (measured by the number of outbreaks). The report mentions restaurants (which remain open in all tier areas) as being a very small number of outbreaks, but nothing about pubs? |

Well not when it comes to the topic of Covid. If anyone expresses an ounce of critical thinking its almost like blasphemy in this forum so im not surprised people choose to keep their opinions to themselves. Thinking out loud and being curious enough to ask questions seems to tickle ppl the wrong way for some reason. Which is just sad as it leaves no room for debate. |

People are free to post as they wish to within site guidelines, or not. If you goad people to post, it doesn't add to the debate. The Op posted something that they viewed as relevant to the forum area. It is and is informative. |

I have a question if anyone knows the answer, not a guess..,. the Seroprevalence section, page 64, are those general blood donors or are they individuals that have had covid ?
I would love them to split the age groups differently for the 25 and under so maybe a clearer picture of where cases are being picked up so example :-
0-4 predominantly childcare / nurseries / pre school
5-11 primary schools
12-18 secondary schools / colleges
19-24 universities |

You don’t always have to have ( or even make public) an opinion... it’s refreshing to post a topic and watch the thread grow... often changing from the original post anyway as arguments develop.
