And having some success with a particular brand too, and just so happens to be the one I have in my bathroom. the main ingredient is 'Cetylpyridinium Chloride (CPC)' I normally buy it for £2.99 500ml from Amazon - I just took a look and it's already out of stock !!! Let's see how far the price hikes.

Surely this makes sense?
Mouthwash has been a suggested aid to cure strep throat for years. Before that, it was gargling salt water or a nasty antiseptic they used at schools in the 70's.
Copper also kills virus.
It was suggested at the outbreak to add copper to face masks to reduce the virus on and in them.
This is only just happening.
It seems the simple wins are being overlooked for the more complex ones we are pinning our hopes on.
But neat gin as a cure, I draw the line unless it's shaken over ice with a dash of vermouth.

I'm sure that would be just as effective (better have two to be sure).
But, yes it does seem obvious/sensible. If washing surfaces, hands etc. works, then sluicing anything that has got into the upper areas of the respiratory system out makes sense. |

It's painful through your nose lol . . . but use Xlear for that as it has been proved to kill the virus in your nose too.

I saw that too and that it wasn’t peer reviewed, just a poster / presentation or something so disregarded it. Cardiff need to be very careful , they are a Russel group uni so shouldn’t be doing this kind of junk |

I'm not a medical expert but back in February me and some workmates were discussing ways of combating the virus we came up with face masks, blood plasma, bcg booster jab, asthma meds, mouth wash.
Why has it taken 5-9 months for experts to come up with these solutions.
I also had the idea Brussel sprouts were a remedy, wait for that one to hit the news next. |
