I’m hoping for snow

Xmas day.

A massive snow storm dumping enough snow, probably about 3mm, to close all travel networks.

Then I can spend longer with my children.

I miss them.

Thanks. I did get to see one when she drove me to hospital and the other when she picked me up a week later.

It was such a faff tho with us all isolating and having covid tests.

Magic wand. I need a magic wand to make the pandemic be gone.

3mm? That’s just a little dusting. Six inches is what you need!

A full 3 millimetres? Large parts of the south close down with just 1 mm. A few flakes of the wrong type of snow on the tracks and modern trains start skidding and derail! A speck of ice in the air when a car is racing down the motorway at a full 45 miles/hour, it's liable to punch right through the windscreen and kill everyone inside the car. And the effects on pedestrians! Those snowflake things fall from really high up you know, they must be doing about 2000 mph by the time they hit the ground. Get caught in a shower of that stuff and it'll be like being hit by a meteorite...
