If they said to you tomorrow you can have the vaccine would you take it or would you wait to see see if people actually do survive from it? There are still so many theories out there and this pandemic there are still to this day people not following rules how long will it be here for?

I’ll have it at some point but I will not be one of the first that’s for sure, luckily I’m far enough down the priority list that it’ll be 2022 before I even have to consider it, and by then we should have a better handle on any of the longer term side effects that may exist !

I've done my due diligence, read and understood the process the vaccine has had to comply with in order to achieve licensing.

I would take it.

I've also avoided anything Karen on Facebook, Tracey in Twitter and the all too numerous fantasists, conspiracy theorists and general fuckwittery around the vaccine.

If people don't want to take it because they've found a genuine fault with the science, research, testing and/or approval process that's ok.

If people don't want to take it because of what they've been "told" or because of what they've "heard" they probably shouldn't be left unsupervised.

They are advising on their website that women of child bearing age should not be taking the vaccine as study's are unclear if it effects fertility of women and still unsure if it will be discreeted in breast milk the whole things crazy! people blindly following these doctors and officials just because they have the title Dr or so on! Throughout history it's been proven that doctors , scientists medical professionals are not all good people so I'm referring to the doctors and scientists of the third Reich who done unspeakable things to humanity, people would have trusted Harold shipmen if he was caught out murdering old folk , im just saying people should have blind faith when it comes to the health of your children elder relatives etc

I am a scientist, albeit not in this discipline. But I happen to know one of the Oxford researchers and have been following their progress as well as that of Pfizer/Biotech. I'm satisfied that this vaccine is as safe as any ever brought to the market.

Show us a credible person who has gone through the data and thinks otherwise.

they aren't even saying it's safe! So how can you possibly know if it's safe or not! Let's not pretend we all know how safe or unsafe this vaccine is because in reality nobody knows as they haven't even tested the vaccine on children or pregnant women and this is straight from their own website! There has been millions of kids all over the world that have been maimed or even killed from vaccines as a scientist you should know this! Didn't they pay out 50 million for maiming kids In Nigeria ?

You mention 2 cases where medical staff have been awful. Can you mention the number of great docs and nurses etc? I've never met one who murders folk. For every one murdering doc, there's millions of great medics. I hope one day you don't need them, if you can't trust them

I think your missing the point! My mother is a nurse in child health obviously the majority are decent people but at the same time they do as they are told from above! Children and pregnant women aren’t being offered the vaccine so no need to test it on them....

What kind of checks do you make on your day to day life? You mention the gym do you use energy drinks? Protein drinks? Do you use hair products? How do you assess the safety of all of these products or do you wait until a few years after they’ve been released before you deem to try them?

It's about ensuring I don't get covid and unwittingly pass it on to my clinically extremely vulnerable colleague at work, or to my elderly mother to whom I was part time care giver before all this.... Or to my partner who is also clinically extremely vulnerable.... Or to ransoms on the train during my daily commute. And in turn, if they don't get it from me.. They won't pass it on to others and so on."

I'm rather glad we don't suffer the horrors of smallpox or the life altering effects of polio, due to the excellent take up of vaccines. These once horrifically destructive diseases are now unknown in most of the world.

I'm glad the generation after mine won't know what whooping cough and full on measles are like. I had both as a young boy. Trust me, you don't want those illnesses or your children getting them. They used to be big killers.

When I was growing up, one of my parents' friends was a survivor of polio. Thankfully she wasn't much affected. She could walk ok but had little use of her hands or arms. She was one of the first people to get a specially adapted car rather than the three wheeled invalid carriages. This was the 70s... And it was not uncommon to see polio survivors around in their wheelchairs or hear whispers of someone's brother in acare... swept under the carpet...

I think Mary Berry is the most high profile polio survivor today. She got it as a child and it's left her with a twisted spine and limited use of one hand. She's very much one of the lucky ones.

I for one have followed not the conspiracy theorists, not the science, but the facts ive personally seen.

The one law for politicians, one law for the people, the empty hospitals when being told they were near breaking point and couldnt cope, the tik tok videos, the moving of goal post on lock down areas, the lack of total lockdown in London despite thats where all the protests took place, the amount of people alleged to have caught Covid and died as a direct result of Covid, compared to other illnesses, the fact that they havent produced a cure for common colds and not locked down entire counties to erradicate the cold virus.

So if its all the same I wont be having it, and as i saw in another thread where some member said that we should be stamped and stopped from going out in society, if they want the vaccination i dont have an issue with that at all, but why you would want to stamp me and stop me going out in society, if this wonderful vaccination thats going to give you your freedom back (which no man or woman had any right to take away from you in the first place i might add) is so good what have you got to worry about, other than the vaccine might not work???

By having the full course of the vaccine you develop a level of immunity so if you do contract the virus you body recognises it and fights it off. Thus reducing your viral load which in turn decreases your transmission risk.

It isn’t just about trusting the government though is it. The Pfizer vaccine has been developed by some of the finest scientific minds in the world and have been approved by the MHRA and is about to be approved by the FDA in the US. These people are the best in the world at what they do.

These are already known as mRNA vaccines have been in development and testing for decades

There cant be any transparent information out there because the Government and their scientists have contradicted themselves in so many ways.

The government cant even answer an FOI request i put in to them relating to the constant wearing of masks, so if they cant answer that i fail to see where this transparency is.

Also if its that big a deal why hasnt Hancock and BoJo and Sturgeon not been on television showing them having it, surely if i was Hancock id be first in the que "
