I'm not sure you'll be given the option of picking the vaccine you want.

Why?

If you are happy to have the vaccine, surely it doesn’t matter which one you are given.

Well I guess the real choice is between the traditional (Oxford) and the new (Moderna and Pfizer).

Provided either type 'works' for me, then I'd not worry too much about which I have.

As long as it’s not the Sputnik vaccine I’m not bothered.

Us to, as long as it’s been approved we are happy to receive whichever is available for us.

I'm open minded.

There is discussion of giving a first and second dose of 2 different vaccines, next year, to evaluate the effectiveness of various combinations. I'd be happy to help them with the trial.

Did you get it on Amazon or Ebay?

The only other vaccine released so far is the "sputnik" dodgy russian one....

Do they have different flavours? Oo, I've got to choose between strawberry and chocolate

I don't suppose there's any chance of a cuppa and a biscuit with the jab?

We will take whatever vaccine is offered as soon as it is offered, as at this stage it is not known whether a second offer would be made. They are going to have their work cut out offering everyone the chance of being vaccinated it could be years before a second offer may be made.

I came on Fab to hopefully give a shot to a few woman. The only shot is the covid vaccination I will be getting. Things don't work out as planned.

I will be grateful for any vaccine. All have been tested so feel they are all safe.

It may well be that as others are cleared by the regulatory bods the issues for those with pre existing allergies may be sorted by one or more of the other vaccines..

So any choice of who gets which will be solely down to that, otherwise it's what your given on the day..

Once the Oxford vaccine becomes available, logic says it will be the mainstream choice of use.

It's cheaper

It's storage requirements are far easier

So my guess is it will be the one used most often. Personally, I'd be happy to have either.

I will have which ever vaccine I am offered....on the assumption that a medical professional has deemed it appropriate for me.

Given that I've never had any side effects from any jab or pill, I personally don't need to worry much.

I’ll happily take the Pfizer (or the Moderna) one if given the choice as they seem to be most effective... however any vaccine is better than no vaccine at this stage so I’ll take whatever is actually offered

On a mooch

I expect by the time I’m offered it, mid to late 2021, it will be the Oxford one that is being given as cheaper and easier to store.

Would rather wait for the proper one developed by AZ, it seems the best one and isn’t far behind.
